Cosy

Monsters die when they’re killed.

How many unknown mysteries exist in this world of ours? Until one day, those that had passed away returned, those that had fallen silent revived, and those that had once been far away, once again came close to our world. Su Di, a seventeen-year-old high school sophomore, an 'ordinary' person with a penchant for anecdotes and strange stories, was holding his mobile phone, under the July holiday sun, intently replying to a message sent by a forum and a friend. The tour bus travelling through the forest road, the vibrant green scenery of the South East Asian jungle did not attract his attention, it was never these 'ordinary' things that mattered to him, in the midst of the tour guide's pompous introductions, and in the midst of the front seat grandpa's loud snoring, he clicked the 'send button! ' before letting out a long breath and placing the phone on his lap. [Do psychics really exist in this world? Magic nor fairy cultivation, do they really exist?"] Seriously replying to this post, the man who talked so eloquently on the internet would never have imagined that what he said was prophetic, and that what was going to happen next would tear apart all the placid realities, the gentle fantasies. All the mundane, the boring but cosy routines, all the things he had taken for granted would be decisively taken away from him, never to return. On his lap, on his mobile phone, which had not yet switched off the screen, the beginning of a small reply was still displayed. [Of course.] [They definitely exist.]

The poor people

I walked into my classroom after I had come in from lunch. I sat down on the floor where everyone else was sitting. I sat next to my best friend Jessica. My teacher looked me in the eye in the way that he wanted to speak to me or ask me a question. And then he said “Chloe, did you watch the news last night” I answered “Yes a bit of it, why?” My teacher replied “Did you see the report about the poor people?” “No” I said to him, confused. “Ok, then I will play it” My teacher turned on our class T.V. The news reporter said “Have you ever thought to yourself what the people in the poor countries are doing right now? I can tell you. They are dying from hunger every 5 seconds! A lot of families are trying to help. But if YOU help them it will make a very big difference. Even if you send a few dollars every week.” “Well, there was a family that wasn`t very wealthy at all! They only had a little bit of shelter and only a little bit of food and water. Every day the Daughter would go and fetch some water from the lake. The eldest son went with his Dad to learn how to kill animals with a bow and arrow or a spear. The Mum collected twigs and bamboo with her 3 year old child and took them to her home where she made them into blankets to sleep with, and mats to sit on. She also made some extra ones to sell. They didn`t have very much, but all that changed when a very kind family helped them. They supplied them with better shelter, food and water, warm and cosy blankets, some mattresses and some furniture. The family was so grateful for what they had done! For the rest of their lives they had enough food and water, all because of one family!” “After today a lot of people have died. But if you can maybe resist having a coffee at the coffee shop and spend the money helping people, maybe just maybe you might change a family’s life! Or even the world!” After the news reporter finished talking it was only then I realised how poor those people really are. My teacher turned the T.V off and by then the school bell rang and the class was dismissed. When Mum picked me up from school I asked “Mum, can we go straight home instead of going to the café and the money that we would have spent at the café can we send the money to the poor people?” “Yes, of course we can, I am so pleased that you are thinking of others, rather than yourself!” answered my Mum. After that day I have only been going to the café once a month and that makes me feel very happy!

How it was, how it is now

I'm so covered with protection, guidance and with so much care. As a little bird whose mother is covering her with her delighted feathers. And the little tiny bird is in the delusion that this is my strong powerful protection which nobody can break or no one can harm. The tiny bird is so happy and pampered inside the cosy warm feathers. This is how my life begins. Living in a small town where there is no such high-class living a simple and loving family of 7 people. And living in thought of never breaking of this happy pampered life. I never of thinking that can change so dramatically and so heartbreaking and used to shake my head and again live a life of a woman who she never was. Here is a baby crying and a boy who is a champ with his little arms making mum everyday happy showing he can save me and protect me the way she used to think once upon a time. Smiling, and cleaning the tears of his mother this little boy makes my day and suddenly the big roaring voice of a husband with a very bossy nature comes into the room he thinks his life is only his life and the world revolves around him, whatever he says should be fulfilled without a single questioning and here a woman with 2 kids running to him leaving everything that she was doing at the moment jut not to offend him with another word he asks. Yes, dear what do you want me to do? She speaks frightening as she is not a wife but a slave who will never get free and who will never see things as she used to see. The things which have been ordered very proudly and rudely to go and bring a glass of water, after that she quickly runs with a screen of a baby and a kid to listen to me first mummy but she is so scared as her husband don't get offended by not listening to him first, here you are a glass of water is presented to him very neatly as he is a king. Just put it down on the table after holding it for 2 min as he thinks it's his wife's job to keep holding it as long as he doesn't order to put it down and at the same time a boy asking for attention from her mummy please play with me but a wife asking a kid to please wait mummy will get back to you. Hereafter drinking the water slowly waiting for his wife is glazing when he will finish and waiting for another bossy order and again the same thing happens every single day. A tired unhappy wife makes every day to fulfil all the commands and not ignore a single word to make him happy but still the same ungrateful words or sometimes hears nothing. She dressed nicely so, that he will notice but no a small happy praising sound from a little boy wow mummy looking beautiful makes her happy and forced her to think may be the time will come again as a strong feather will protect me one day from this harsh cruel world and again this hopes push her not to give up.
