[Ding!] [System Notification] [Congratulations, Player. You have been chosen for the Ascension Hero Game.] [Your first trial will soon commence. Be ready.] "Huh?...What's this? I've been chosen for a game? Does this mean I don't have to die right now? Is this my second chance?" *** Evan Lawler—a lonely young lad—lost in a different reality, gets awarded a system that turns his life around. Growing up, Evan has always been weak, and in his world—which was slowly falling apart due to the apocalypse caused by the dreaded Netherfiends—the weak were not acknowledged as useful. After he attains the system, his journey begins: a journey created by the system, where he is forced to complete impossibly cruel trials. "So if I complete a trial I get unimaginable power and if I fail ...I'll face a punishment worse than death?!!" "What the hell? If I knew I was going to end up completing missions this impossible I wont have accepted this damn system!!" But Evan didn't have any choice left. He had already begun the game and he needed to become the strongest and return back to his real world- to his sister, Maggie, who had been lost in the apocalypse. And so, Evan's journey begins! Reincarnated Hero System

It was just a game; one Evan played way too much, but it was still a game in the end. At least it that’s what it was supposed to be... However, on the day the main quest ended, he discovered it was more than just a game. The world of Aidos was real and the demon threat was even more so. He was sent to be the leader of the new generation of heroes and save the world from the demon invasion by the god who made the game. Unfortunately, nothing was as simple as it may have seemed. As the truth behind the invasion and the previous Seven Heroes was slowly revealed, he began to have second thoughts about his choices. He began questioning if the demons were truly the enemies of Aidos. Even more so, when he discovered a new truth. That he may not actually be who he thought he was. #wsa2022 WSA 2022 Entry [Check out my other stories from my profile: Godslayer’s Legend, Reincarnated Hero System & Beyond the Bloodline] ◇ ◇ ◇ Discord Link: https://discord.gg/ZXyAjGtS4r ◇ ◇ ◇ Support Me: https://ko-fi.com/michae_l ◇ ◇ ◇ I'm new to writing so I hope you all will support me on this journey. REINCARNATION 101

Life is like an egg... I don't know why I said that. This world isn't at all what I thought it would be. I was ready for the butterfly effect, but not to this extent. Sure, I turned a few bad guys into good ones, but the system's idea of "fixing" the narrative? Completely idiotic. And that's why I hate the fucking system. When I find the bastard who transmigrated me, I'll kick his ass—then maybe thank him for bringing me here. Anyway, you're probably wondering why I'm yapping. Well, it's because I got reincarnated as the female lead. One minute, I'm living my normal life, heading home after work. The next, I’m the princess of an empire. Naturally, I did what any reincarnator would do—I got involved in the narrative. Oh, but then I realized, no one else really does that. Most reincarnators are born as side characters, only aiming to help the protagonist from the shadows. They claim they won’t interfere or change the story, acting all sneaky and pulling strings from behind. But let's be honest—they're stupid. I’m not like them. Since I was born as the female lead, I molded the narrative to my will. And here I am. I admit, things got a little messed up, but I wasn’t the only one who knew the future. Who knew that shitty system regressed people too? Anyway, my interference caused the system to malfunction. It broke down, unable to maintain balance, and now, thanks to me, this world is system-free. That caused a few problems since the system kept certain things in check, but who cares? The story goes on. Maybe I went a bit too far, like when I made that one-time villain a professor. But he's a good guy now, just a little broken... and maybe possessed... or maybe he did massacre a village in the original novel. But, but that didn’t happen this time because I’m here. This time, he saved a lot of people, including me, and now he’s living a happy life. All because of me. So yes, I am a great person. Honestly, this story is more about him than just me. Oh, and there’s another guy too. Yeah, he’s a joy. The side character that everyone scorned is now a protagonist alongside me and the villain-turned-professor. So, we're all rejects and outcasts. Stick around to find out what kind of crazy shit the three of us pulled off. We’re the self-made protagonists of what was supposed to be a typical tragic romance novel. Oh shit... what happened to the original protagonist and his group? I totally forgot about them. --- "Welcome to my novel! As a new writer, I'm excited to share my story with you. Please bear with me if my English isn't perfect - I'm doing my best to improve. The story is also going to be pretty slow at the start(almost till 45, but from then we go into a normal pace), but stick around if that's your taste. Update Schedule: New chapters will be posted every day except a Monday or a Wednesday. Occasionally, I might surprise you with an extra chapter on certain days. Get in Touch: If you'd like to contact me, feel free to DM me on Instagram @kaixuanblackwood. I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my novel!"

Fate Of A Hero

Somehow, I don't know how for sure, though, I've been sent to the world of my favorite game, Skyrim. The longer I'm here, the more I notice that this world is real. Not simply realistic, but real. Everything I do has an effect on the world, either good or bad, especially in the case with the storylines. I love Skyrim, but I'm not going to be able to survive here, right? How do I get out? Getting out isn't even the beginning of my problems. The longer I stay here, the more I realize – things are different, and not necessarily for the better. -------------- As embarrassing as this is, this is a Skyrim fanfic. It's probably permanently in progress, as I'm mainly just using it as a drawing board to practice writing storylines for games. Writing it out is just a fun way I've got for going about it. I've also written this in a style so that people who haven't played any of the Elder Scrolls series of games can read it as well. I warn you, though, there's a *lot* of words. Side note: I've also got this story on other sites/apps, in case you want to read it there. -------------- This is also a challenge to That Guy Right There. This is a combination of how I would write the fanfic you made, along with the fact that I got tired of waiting for the author, That Guy Right There, to finish his story, "Living Skyrim." It's pretty good, y'all should check it out. However, Guy's mc is an asshole, so I warn you now. The puns he makes are also kinda bad. So I challenge you, Guy. I'm gonna write my version of how it'd go, and you finish yours (unless you died.) This is a direct copy from my work on my other accounts on various reading/writing apps. Check that one out, too. It doesn't matter to me which you support, cuz I'm not monetized by any. I'm just the writer, man.

The Hero Does not want to be a Hero

Kail, a 23-year-old customer support agent, found himself in an unexpected predicament – he was somehow transported into the world of his beloved RPG game, "Stopping Ragnarok." To his astonishment, he wasn't alone in this bizarre adventure. Eight other players, supposedly the chosen ones destined to rescue the world within the game, joined him on this quest. Their mission? To thwart the sinister forces threatening to eradicate humanity in Terra Mercuria. It all sounded quite epic, at least in theory. However, as they delved into their adventure, reality quickly dispelled any grandiose expectations. The warrior turned out to be rather, well, twinkish, not exactly the imposing figure Kail had imagined. The mage had an odd fascination with dark magic, which was more intriguing than practical. The healer, a girl, had an unexpected twist – she possessed an anatomical surprise that defied convention. The Rogue, meant to be stealthy and ruthless, was far too polite and kind-hearted to fit the bill. The Ranger, whose title suggested environmental awareness, displayed a conspicuous disregard for nature's well-being. The Paladin, expected to be virtuous and noble, seemed more interested in flirting than righteousness. The Necromancer, a master of the undead, harbored a comical fear of his own creations. And then there was the Hero, the one designated to lead this motley crew. To Kail's surprise, the Hero vehemently rejected his role and instead clung to Kail, the Bard, as if he were a lifeline in this absurd world. So, while their mission to save Terra Mercuria remained a noble pursuit in theory, the reality of their adventure was shaping up to be quite the comedic spectacle.
