Japanese Girl Ocean

SPACE COLONIST: in the oceanic world ARK

#Synopsis: ------------------------------------------------------ In the far future the planet earth is full, and thanks to 3 key technologies, genetic manipulation, cryosleep, and advanced space engines, humanity builds deep space spaceships and launch themselves to the unknown confines of space to forge a new future away from home. Follow our young engineer Erik as he starts on his first job at the young age of 60 years old in future earth where humans will live hundreds of years, he will reach an unknown place with his spaceship by accident and to survive he will have no choice but to explore alien structures and hunt dangerous monsters to get stronger, making alliances with the locals in more than friendly terms sometimes. ------------------------------------------------------ The protagonist is a young 60 years old "young" engineer, he's easy-going and a good guy, he's been trained so he will know what he's doing most of the time, in "Chapter 1 - A New Beginning" he will explain more, as a human from the future where bodies are just flesh containers, he's fairly openminded (kinda like "Altered Carbon" from Netflix, but different, you can go one day to a genetic center, pay, and get inside a liquid tank and then, the next time you open your eyes your body has already changed, then you get your ticket and go home just like that, but combat modifications would be regulated). ------------------------------------------------------ Hi, NirvanaPenguin here, suggestions on the story are welcome, this is a book I'm gonna write for fun and to get better at writing in preparation for a story I will start next year. ------------------------------------------------------ Discord: https://discord.gg/WPM7a4Dp4J Reddit: www.reddit.com/user/NirvanaPenguin/ Twitter: @NirvanaPenguin Post a review if you liked the book to help me get exposure, thanks. The book cover was drawn by myself(not the background though), I will try to make or pay someone to make a cooler one in the future though. ------- Spoiler?: Inspiration for the octopeople. - Asari from Mass Effect. - sea horses. - subnautica all beings reproduce that way.

Shackled Ocean Heart

Seralyndra Veliriane T. Virellthane never really had a place she could call home. Not truly. She grew up in a house that wore the label of faith but forgot how to love. To her, it wasn’t a family—it was a daily trial. Her every breath was a burden, every smile a mask. She did everything right. Top of her class. Rules followed to the letter. She was the kind of girl parents bragged about—except hers never did. Instead, they treated her like she was a flaw in their perfect picture, a crack in the glass they refused to admit was there. And when you hear you’re worthless enough times, you start to believe it. There were nights the silence grew too loud, and the weight of her own thoughts crushed her from the inside. There were mornings she didn't want to wake up, not because she was tired, but because existing just hurt too much. Maybe they were right. Maybe she really wasn’t meant to be happy. But then he happened. Drevanthos Kaelithar V. Maldraven—sun-kissed skin, tired eyes, and that crooked smile that looked like it could talk your demons into sleeping for just one night. He showed up like an unfinished poem—flawed, reckless, human—and for the first time, someone saw her pain without her having to bleed. One simple thing changed everything: he kissed her forehead. That was all it took to quiet the war in her chest. Her chaos paused. Her walls cracked, just enough to let him in. And in his arms, Seralyndra learned that softness didn’t make her weak—it made her real. She wasn’t too much. She wasn’t broken beyond repair. She was wanted—mess, scars, and all. But happiness, she learned, isn’t a promise. It’s a fragile thing. Because just when she thought she’d finally climbed out of the darkness, life reminded her it still had storms waiting. And this time, she was drowning in them alone. The sea she once called her freedom now whispered her fears back to her. The waves she loved no longer danced—they dragged. And in the echo of everything she’d lost, she had to ask: Was love ever hers to keep? Or just something borrowed from someone else’s story?

Ocean the Maneless: penjelajah laut dalam

Synopsis: Deep in the undersea world of Thal’Zaen, an ancient race called the Or’Kai live to maintain the balance of the ocean. They are descendants of the legendary Orca—humanoid creatures who possess the “Mane of Waves,” a glowing spirit energy that signifies their strength, honor, and connection to the sea. But one child was born different. Maneless, an Or’Kai born without a mane, was considered a curse by his own people. He was banished to a dark realm called the Sea Rift, where dead currents and evil spirits dwell. There, he grew up among the shadows, surviving not by strength, but by the will to live—or at least, to prove that he was worthy of living. When an ancient power called The Abyssal Crown rose and transformed the guardians of the ocean into monsters clad in black manes, the only one who could not be affected was Maneless. For he had nothing to steal. Aided by Lyra, a sea witch from the surface who bears the sins of her ancestors, Maneless embarked on a journey to discover who he really was. From the ruins of ancient cities to the deepest, most forbidden trenches, they discover the truth: that the absence of a mane is not a weakness—it is a seal. Now, the Maneless must choose: awaken the power hidden within themselves and sacrifice their souls, or let the seas be swallowed by an unquenchable darkness. Amidst war, betrayal, and the sparks of love that bloom amid the ruins, one question continues to haunt them: Can a soul without light save a world that is slowly losing its light?
