Raising Pets As The Fated Villain
In the world of Kalhalla, life is a curse, and death is only the beginning of endless suffering. Bound to the Tree of Nature, the souls of beasts and familiars are trapped in an eternal cycle of death and grotesque rebirth, condemned to take on monstrous forms with each reincarnation. Behind this twisted cycle are the Fallen Angels—once proud deities who created the Tree, now damned by their own hubris. They roam the world, hunted by the Chosen Hunt, those who can raise and tame beasts and wield their power in a desperate quest to free the world from the Tree’s curse.
Kaiden is a loner, a 19 year old haunted by the horrors of the not being able to tame and raise beasts, no matter how hard he tries. But unlike other Chosen, Kaiden ends up possessesing a rare, terrifying gift—he can raise and merge with the beasts he tames, becoming one with their primal power. As he hunts the Fallen Angels, his strength grows, but so does the weight of the Tree’s curse. With each bond he forms, Kaiden unknowingly edges closer to madness, his humanity slowly eroding.
But there is a darker truth to his power. As Kaiden slays the Fallen Angels, he uncovers a forgotten secret: the Tree’s corruption can only be undone by one who fully embraces its twisted essence. Kaiden is destined to become either the new God of Death, bound to the Tree for eternity, or the God of Creation, with the power to destroy it and remake the world.
In the end, the choice will be his—to end the suffering of all life or to become the architect of a new, darker world.
