The Greek Gods

Asutsura: The Demiser of the Gods.

Since time immemorial, a brutal war between humans and demons scorched the earth, leaving the world on the brink of eternal darkness. For centuries, humanity struggled against the tides of chaos, until the divine Devas, supreme gods of light, intervened. With their aid, humans finally crushed the demon legions, and hope for peace flickered at last. But just as the end of war seemed within reach, the Demon Lord unleashed one final, catastrophic curse—one that would forever alter the balance between good and evil. Instead of fading into myth and legend, the war spilled across time, stretching its dark claws into the modern world, entwining itself with the fate of a new generation. Enter Aramiya Ryuu, a seemingly ordinary high school student in a quiet town—until strange, unsettling events begin to unravel his everyday life. As shadows stir in the corners of his world, his dormant powers awaken, pulling him into a realm of magic, danger, and hidden truths. With mysterious new allies at his side, Ryuu must quickly learn to master the powers within him—powers he doesn’t yet understand, but which may be humanity’s last hope. The demons are relentless, and the forces they serve now wage war in the modern era, threatening to plunge the world into chaos once more. As he delves deeper into the truth behind the Demon Lord’s final curse, Ryuu finds that his own past is entwined with dark secrets, ones that could reshape the future of humanity—and the war itself. In the face of unimaginable threats, he must confront his destiny, balancing love, loyalty, and the weight of a world that rests on his shoulders. Will Ryuu rise as the hero humanity needs, or will the demons finally succeed in their quest for domination? As old battles merge with new dangers, the ancient, eternal war begins again—this time, in a world far more vulnerable to its dark power..... https://www.royalroad.com/profile/510301

The Greek gods Slumber In Wake Of Trouble

At fourteen, Alec is biding his time in the cold, confining walls of an orphanage, counting down the days until his fifteenth birthday, his self-imposed deadline to escape. The orphanage is no home—it’s a place of harsh rules and harsh people, a prison he longs to leave behind. But as his plan to escape takes shape, Alec finds himself haunted by visions of three mysterious men, each more strange and powerful. In one vision, Alec sees a fierce, commanding figure—an older man with a wild white beard and eyes slit with flashes of lightning. This man perches on clouds, his gaze like thunder, his presence a storm waiting to strike. In another vision, Alec is drawn to a man with the calm of the ocean in his eyes, the kind of calm that can turn deadly with a moment’s notice. His serene smile hides the force of a tempest, and he appears on tranquil beaches or luxurious yachts, exuding both peace and power. The third man is a contradiction, always laughing and swaying as though drunk, his gaze dancing with fire and eyes pitch black. Yet beneath his boisterous demeanor, a darkness clings to him, thick and suffocating, like a shadow he cannot shake. Each of these men has one request for Alec: they want him to be their vessel. They come to him one by one, pleading, promising, but Alec refuses, unsettled by their otherworldly presence and the ominous weight of their demands. Who are they, these figures who appear from the sky, the sea, and the shadowy depths? And why do they want him—a lone boy desperate for freedom—as their vessel? As his birthday approaches, Alec faces a choice that could reshape his entire future. But freedom has its costs, and so does the mystery that pulls at him from the depths of his own visions.

The War Orchestrated By Gods

In a universe connected to our own. Gods exist and make themselves known, there were 2 gods that were in constant argueing about whom was more powerful or could create the more powerful beings. Eventually they came to an agreement to create a race of creatures built for combat. So both of them created a half of the planet and a humanity in their own vision, granting them power, free will, potential, and each rose a champion with a gift. When a person dies in our world, their soul gets transported to this plain, implanted in the soil. Judged on their lives, and depending on their actions they will be an avatar of 1 of the 2 gods. Rimoto created a humanity in his vision with elitism and an elegance, while Zinora created a humanity of comradery and freedom. Rimoto's humanity rewards those that are born gifted and those that are not will be serving those whom are. Zinora's humanity allows anyone to participate and become worthy additions to the gifted. Rimoto made a system where one's worthiness gets tested through trials to overcome. When the gods created their humanities they agreed that making their own souls would be unfair since both would just bring the strongest of the strong into existence and have them duke it out. Instead, they made a pact with the god of our universe, for those that are willing can be transported to participate in this glorious war after they are released from their mortal shells. Upon arrival into the new world, your soul gets embedded into the soil of our planet and your deeds, morality, accomplishments, get judged. this judgement results in your potential. Once your potential is granted, you will be sent to either Rimoto or Zinora whom will welcome you to their side and fill you in on why you are here, you are free to live your life in the way you want, but a war will wage in 10 years time where both factions will clash. The losing side will be wiped off the planet, and sent back to their own universe, while the winning faction may live on and continue their existence without interference from the gods. With that information being told you are given your wings white from Rimoto & black from Zinora that can be reverted back into your body if you dont want to use them or not have the penalty to your power, it cuts more than half of your capability when they're out. The rules of living on this planet are a bit different, we don't HAVE to eat, we don't HAVE to drink, we don't HAVE to breathe, we only have 1 organ which is our heart, on the inside is just a circuit of thick wiring connected to our heart. that transports energy through our entire body. When the first generation of souls got raised both factions were next to each other looked the opposing faction in the eyes and disdain was brewed among them because they knew they would have to clash, and their gods told them those that are not the same as they are were to be considered their enemy. After the gods told all of them no major conflicts were allowed until the scheduled war 10 years later. Both gods gifted 1 of their warriors a blessing echoing telepathically announcing the gift to their champion. with a heavenly booming voice both gods tell them ''You have been chosen to be my champion, you are gifted to master all 8 fields : power, speed, defense, energy control, healing, destruction, flight, creation. what you do with this gift is up to you'' Rimoto's champion Helega, announced it to all subjects whom idolized her for being the chosen one. Zinora's champion Jore, remained silent about it, keeping it a secret as the factions went their own way. This story will follow Zinora's faction,

The Veil of Forgotten Gods

[Congratulations to the host for awakening the Forgotten Gods' Legacy.] [Host’s Initial Power: Unseen Affinity—A connection so faint, it borders on nonexistent, offering little to no advantage in the coming war.] “This can’t be right. What kind of system is this if I’m barely more than an ordinary human?” Frustrated and on the verge of abandoning hope, Leo is ready to quit. But as he delves deeper into the forgotten myths, the world around him begins to change. Shadows stir in the corners of reality, and voices from long-lost deities whisper in his ear, revealing a truth hidden from mortal eyes. Leo’s seemingly worthless power is the key to something far more profound. The Forgotten Gods' Legacy isn’t about raw strength; it’s about unraveling the mysteries of ancient gods who have faded into obscurity. Each challenge he faces brings him closer to unlocking the true power within—a power that could either resurrect these gods or consign them to oblivion forever. In a world teetering on the edge of destruction, where forgotten deities vie for dominance, Leo’s journey will force him to confront the gods themselves, facing the ultimate choice: will he reignite their power, or let them fade into the abyss? His decision will shape the fate of both gods and humans alike. **"The Veil of Forgotten Gods"** is an epic tale of hidden power, forgotten deities, and the delicate balance between mortal and divine. For Leo, the path to victory isn’t just about gaining strength—it’s about discovering the secrets buried in the deepest shadows. ---

Saint of Gods

Sacred Darkness was a VR RPG game that was still in the development stage and had just completed its alpha testing. The game was introduced as "let's look at the story from the perspective of the villains." This single sentence was enough to pique people's interest. More than 2 million people worldwide flooded the application page to be selected for the beta test. In order to receive good feedback, the game developers selected 49 countries, and one person from each of these selected countries was chosen to participate in the test. Countries such as the USA, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Russia, India, Mexico, Egypt, and Brazil were just a few of them. Although Türkiye was not on this list, the reason I was able to participate in the beta test was because I knew the person who wrote the story of the game. In fact, I had even helped him in some parts of it. Although I didn't have an obligation to participate, I did not want to miss the chance to see my favorite character in the story of the game earlier, which I had read over and over again countless times from start to finish. And I accepted to participate in the beta test. I wish I hadn't accepted... ∆ Main Task: The Descent of Darkness Task Description: You are reborn as a citizen of this world! False Gods: Apocalypse

It was just a normal night but it was unknown to many that a disastrous event was underway. The night sky bursts into a crimson-gold hue, illuminating the landscape as a planet-altering extraterrestrial meteor collides with the Evermoon World bringing destruction in its wake. This cosmic event completely changed the planet as a wave of primal force swept through Evermoon. Animals turned into terrifying beasts, some plants gained self-awareness, and the humans who managed to withstand the wave of primal force awakened the ability to acquire strength by defeating powerful enemies. And those who did not turned into man-eating mutants and zombies. The entire planet entered a new era where the old laws fell. The only law was the law of the jungle where the strongest devoured the weakest. Damien Quinn, an apparently normal college student and an orphan is unceremoniously exposed to such a cold and heartless new world, he is faced with a choice: Find a deep dark hole and hope it goes back to "normal"? Or overcome all obstacles and struggle towards evolution! Initially only hoping to get his friends and escape to a refugee camp, our protagonist sets out, inadvertently building a team along the way. After a series of fortuitous events and a few serious hunches our hero decides it's time to do more than just survive! However, it seemed that Evermoon also had its hidden side that humans would discover in a very uncanny way. And was evolution the last of it?

Echoes of the Dreaming Gods

Synopsis: "Echoes of the Dreaming Gods" Overview: "Echoes of the Dreaming Gods" is a surreal, mythological adventure that intertwines the fates of four protagonists Astraea, Ikaros, Selene, and Orion who each struggle with the burdens of their pasts while navigating an ever-shifting world shaped by both ancient myths and fluid dreamscapes. Guided and manipulated by celestial entities known as the Dreaming Gods, the characters embark on a journey that transcends time and space, exploring themes of ambition, power, fate, and self-discovery. Plot: In a world where reality is as unstable as a dream, the ancient Dreaming Gods begin to stir, their influence reaching across time and dimensions. These gods represent primal forces and cosmic archetypes, and they seek to manipulate mortals for their own ends. As the boundaries between the mythic past, the surreal present, and the speculative future begin to blur, four characters are drawn together, their destinies intertwined. Astraea, once a powerful queen lost to time, wanders invisibly through the modern world, forgotten by history but desperate to reclaim her lost kingdom and fading identity. She embarks on a quest to confront the Dreaming Gods and restore her power, all the while battling her growing irrelevance in a world that no longer remembers her. Ikaros, a descendant of the mythical Icarus, is cursed by his family's legacy of doomed ambition. He is a modern-day inventor, obsessed with breaking the cycle of failure by creating a device that can alter time. His journey takes him through parallel dimensions where he must confront the limits of his ambition and the painful memories of his ancestors' downfall. Selene, a silent oracle who can see the future but is cursed never to speak it, is drawn into the ever-shifting city of dreams. She wanders, writing cryptic messages on walls and watching as the calamities she foresees come to pass. Her quest is to find a way to break her curse and finally give voice to the future, knowing that her silence has caused untold suffering. Orion, an eternal rebel cursed by the Dreaming Gods to live through endless cycles of revolution and failure, struggles with his disillusionment. Once a great revolutionary leader, he is now cynical and battle-weary, fighting for causes he no longer believes in. His journey through time is a search for meaning beyond rebellion, as he contemplates abandoning his fight or finding a new purpose. Their individual journeys are set into motion by a celestial event the reawakening of the Dreaming Gods triggered by a mysterious shift in the cosmic order. As time begins to unravel and dreams bleed into reality, each character is thrust into a series of surreal adventures that test their willpower, morality, and sense of identity. The Dreaming Gods are not malevolent, but they are indifferent to the struggles of mortals, using the characters as pawns in their grand game. They manifest in shifting, symbolic forms an ever-moving river, a cloud of stars, or a colossal stone statue and offer each protagonist a chance at redemption, knowledge, or freedom, though the cost is always steep. Act I: The novel opens with each character in their respective worlds.
