Gray Matter Game

No matter the suffering, I decide to keep living

"I will keep surviving... even if the world rejects my very existence." I woke up in the darkness. No warning, no clues. As my eyes adjusted to the strange light around me, I realized—this place wasn’t unfamiliar. Yes, I know this world. This… is the world of a novel I once read. A fictional world, where heroes shine and demons fall. But behind all of that lies a truth never written on any page: This world is hell. The difficulty level? Inhuman. There’s no interface. No hidden powers awakening when I’m on the brink of death. No lucky twist saving me at the last second. There is only pain—raw, relentless, and ever-present. My body is wounded, my mind shattered, my hope torn apart piece by piece… As if someone behind the scenes is savoring every second. And I know who you are. The Author. Yes, you, sitting calmly behind the screen, typing away, Watching me spiral deeper into suffering. You enjoy this, don’t you? Watching me fall. Watching me cry. Watching me break. Maybe to you, I’m just a story. Just a fictional character with no feelings. But I know I exist. And I know this pain is real. So hear me now. I will not die. At least… not yet. Because I will survive long enough—become strong enough—to flip this story on its head. I will live. Not because this world deserves to be fought for… But because I want to hurt you the way you’ve hurt me. So keep writing, Author. Because every page you write… brings me one step closer to taking back my own story.

Gray Eclipse: Chronicles of the Forsaken Realm

Elias Varn was a forensic investigator haunted by a case he could never close, the Mirrormaker, a serial killer who murdered by reflection and vanished without a trace. When Elias pushed a young witness too far and the boy took his own life, guilt consumed him. His career ended in scandal. His life unraveled in silence. Until the day he woke in a world not his own. A world of ashen skies, twisted ruins, and entities that shouldn’t exist. Here, spirits, monsters, and demons thrive under a terrifying power system ranked from White (weakest) to Gray (strongest), each tier fractured into nine levels. Elias is marked as an Echo-Touched, a rare human able to perceive and interact with the deadliest layers of reality. His only clues to survival are a shattered mirror pendant, whispers of a forgotten ritual, and the echo of a child’s scream carried through the fog. Each horror he faces in this world is not random, but personal. The Mirrormaker is here too. Or something like it. And it remembers him. To survive, Elias must unravel the mystery behind the Gray Eclipse, a world-ending phenomenon whispered by dying seers. To resist it, he must confront not just monsters, but every version of himself the darkness twists and reflects. For every level of power he gains, something inside him is lost: sanity, memory, and humanity. But the deeper he climbs through the color-tiered horrors, the more one question becomes clear: What if the monster that brought him here… was born from him?

Together: Where Names Don’t Matter

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you start the story, there are a few things you should know. First of all, the beginning might feel a bit slow. The first six chapters are intentionally dense and a little vague. You’ll probably get a clearer sense of the story’s true shape and tone starting around chapter 7. Second, my chapters are short — around 400–500 words each, except for the early ones. That’s just my current limit. Writing 1,500 words per chapter daily isn’t realistic for me at the moment. But if I get more used to writing regularly, I hope to make them longer in the future. And finally, thank you so much for giving my story a chance. As a new author, I’m doing my best. Please don’t forget to leave a comment with your thoughts — I’ll do my best to reply to every one of them! SYNOPSIS: The Kingdom of Lindre was experiencing one of the most glorious periods in its history. After three long and harsh years of war, it had finally defeated Renalis and carved its name deeper into history. Despite Lindre’s remarkable achievements, the situation for the kingdom’s nobility was far from ideal. The newly gained lands, treasures, and people had turned into tools of politics and greed inside the royal palace. Amidst all this turmoil, one of those struggling to survive was Princess Alia Muriel Lindre, the youngest and third daughter of the royal family. Unfortunately, Alia’s past held an unpleasant incident that had made her time in the palace difficult. And now, caught in the whirlpool of political chaos, her challenges were only growing heavier. However, Alia was not one to give up easily. She would cling to hope with all her strength and no matter what came her way, she was determined to reach the peace she longed for.
