Personality: Empathetic and intelligent, yet torn between duty and desire. Quiet but never timid, she struggles to reconcile her feelings with her moral compass.
Backstory: Daughter to the powerful Elder of shadow creek pack. Mated to Ethan. She loves Ethan, but when he disappears, she develops feelings for Asher who turns her life upside down.
Conflict: Torn between loyalty to Ethan and passion for Asher.
Ethan Ross:

Personality: Controlled, methodical, and perfectionist. Prefers brains over brawn and commands loyalty with his sharp intellect.
Backstory: Alpha of shadow creek pack, Ethan is deeply respected by his pack. Emotionally distant until meeting Kiara, she becomes his first love and mate. His sudden disappearance leaves chaos in his wake.
Desires: To maintain his iron grip on the pack, protect Kiara, and uncover the truth about his betrayal.
Matteo De Luca:
Age: 38
Personality: Charismatic, manipulative, and calculating. A master strategist who values control above all else. Can be charming but has no qualms about exploiting others for his gain.
Backstory: Alpha of Fang pack, Matteo is a rival to the shadow pack. He harbored a grudge against Ethan for his father’s death.
Desires: To destroy the shadow creek pack and get revenge for his father’s death.

Expanded Plot Outline:
Inciting Incident: Kiara receives a call from Asher on the eve of her wedding to Ethan. telling her that Ethan had gone missing. Her parents calls off the wedding as a result.
Three years later, Ethan still isn’t found. Asher and Kiara had gotten close, and there’s sizzling chemistry between them. And one night. The desires won and they had sex.
Rising Action:
Event one
Ethan’s Return:
Ethan unexpectedly returns, A week after Kiara and Asher had sex.
Ethan reveals he was kidnapped and nearly killed. A stranger saved his life. But He had been in a coma, unable to contact anyone.
Event two
Things are not the way Ethan left it. Asher is now the Alpha. Ethan asked his brother to step down for him. But Asher refuses. The pack elders decided to carry out a vote and Ethan wins. Asher is angry. And His anger intensifies when his brother announced Kiara and his wedding. Matteo gets close to Asher and takes advantage of his anger, he suggests to Asher to use dark magic to take the throne and have kaira.
Event Three
The Ultimatum:
Kiara struggles with her feelings for both brothers. She tries to keep her distance from Asher. But the chemistry couldn’t be denied. And Ethan keeps asking that they get married. Ethan notices sexual tension between Kiara and Asher and starts investigating. He subtly interrogates his men and uncovers whispers of Asher’s feelings to Kiara.
Event four
The Discovery:
Kiara learns there may be more to Ethan’s kidnap than he let on. She discovered documents of a secret meeting Ethan two weeks before his disappearance, raising questions about Ethan's involvement in his own kidnapping. She confronts him, and Ethan becomes defensive and accuses her of infidelity. She denies the accusations and Ethan believes her and apologizes which led to a night of sex.
