Mythology Is Real
A young man who was once a chuunibyou secretly always wished all these years later, after he snapped out of 8th grader syndrome, to become as idealistic, excited, and ignorantly blissful as he was back then.
Because even though he knows better now, the cost of becoming a realist was a depression that shackled him down, wanting the feel like the main character of his own story again.
And one day, in his usual commute from work, the strings of fate lead him down the specific path he has been on till that point, in order to then be guided by grace, and come face-to-face with his destiny:
To be “The Chosen One”.
However, he’s a ‘realist’ now, so even though he is technically “The Chosen One”, will he allow himself to be chosen?
Despite the obvious choice, his heart isn’t in it at all, and he suffers his numbness to not being able to get excited over the thing the younger him prayed for day and night to happen finally to him.
This is the journey of a young man, through which a dramatic, mythical fantasy, he comes to learn how to “let go of everything”, and finally becoming pure and blissful once again, despite his burdensome knowledge.
