Oblivion - A dystopian sci fi fantasy story

Oblivion is a dystopian progression story, set in a low fantasy sci-fi world, told from the perspective of the ones being cultivated. What to expect: 1-2 Chapters per week Violence (Usually deserved) A vast mystery to unravel with multiple layers spanning outside the observable universe. A main character that continues to adapt and get stronger after facing unbelievable adversity. A massive universe with noble houses and space-faring corporations vying for control. A progression system that's grounded, well explained, and satisfying. Influences: Red Rising, Dungeon Crawler Carl, , Cradle, Dune, The Foundation, The Fifth Element In a world where a glittering city floats above an endless marsh, the lives of commoners are bound to the soil and the shallow waters that swallow their dead. Sixteen-year-old Aine is an Ashand, one of the few permitted to wade the flooded gardens, tending the pale flowers that bloom from the dead. These blooms, according to the Sanctari priests, are vessels for the souls that will be offered to the “living gods” who dwell in the city above, a place as unreachable to Aine as the chariots that drift through its golden gates. Aine knows her place: to harvest the flowers, recite the ancient prayers, and watch the sickness claim her family one by one. Her mother is fading, her father returned long ago from the gods broken and empty, and her young brother Rheinan will soon be orphaned in a world that offers no comfort to the curious or the defiant. But Aine is neither blind nor obedient. The glimmer of the city’s hidden gardens, the roots beneath the water that whisper of something older than the Sanctari, and the strange sickness that spares some while devouring others, all of it feeds a growing fire inside her. When her mother’s final days bring a cruel revelation, Aine is forced to become something horrifying in order to survive.

I Built the Sci-Fi Heavenly Court

Where does the final boundary lie for a cutting-edge technology corporation? Is it the Umbrella Corporation from Resident Evil, with its bioweapons and artificial intelligence? The Stark Industries from Iron Man, with its nanotechnology and energy revolution? Or Weyland-Yutani from Alien, with its ruthless exploitation of extraterrestrial lifeforms? These represented merely the limits of cinematic imagination - not Chen Mo's limits. A single accidental discovery changed everything: Chen Mo could physically reach into movies... and extract objects from them. Thus was born a technological empire destined to rule the cosmos. From Resident Evil, he obtained the Red Queen AI. Creating mechanical armies. Developing T-virus enhancements. Engineering biological weapons that defied ethical boundaries. From Limitless, he acquired NZT-48. Unlocking human genetic potential. Achieving cognitive transcendence. Transforming an entire nation into exceptional individuals. From Anaconda, he secured the immortality serum. Establishing the Longevity Club - shadow rulers existing outside time, influencing dynasties across centuries. And this was just the beginning. Years later, Chen Mo's corporation had evolved beyond conventional corporate entities. It had constructed a Technological Celestial Order - the singular supreme power in existence. In the vastness of space, his authority was absolute. Where he governed, not even deities were permitted to interfere.
