The Pantiot Prefecture is on the verge of collapse. After the fall of the legendary Hojo no Umi fortress to a terrifying, seemingly invincible enemy, hope has begun to dwindle. The Prefecture’s people, once united in their belief that the fortress was their last stronghold, are now left reeling from the devastating loss. The survivors—civilians and soldiers alike—are scattered across the land, struggling to survive in a world where the very concept of safety has become an illusion.
Yamri, a passionate, reckless teenager with a hidden past, is driven by a singular desire: to be part of the movement that could save his people. After his home was destroyed in a raid by the same monsters that decimated Hojo no Umi, Yamri’s determination has been fueled by an urgent need for revenge.
As he fights in the army, he discovers that he is not just an ordinary recruit.
