Götterdämmerung: Seraphim Sacrifice

In a world plagued by overpopulation and the imminent threat of ecological collapse, the leaders of the European Union, The Commonwealth, The Slavic Federation, The Eurasian Confederation, and The Greater Arabian League came together to embark on humanity's greatest endeavor. Faced with the daunting challenge of ensuring the survival of their people, they devised a monumental plan—a vast network of subterranean tunnels, high-speed railways, and underground cities that would become the crucible of humanity's future. Amidst the looming threat of nuclear annihilation, these tunnels and cities emerged as the last bastions of hope, providing sanctuary for survivors across Europe. Beneath the desolate surface scarred by the mysteries of the past, civilizations thrived, armies clashed, and alliances were forged in the shadows. The world of Götterdämmerung became a labyrinthine realm where life, death, and the remnants of human ambition played out beneath the surface. In the depths of the underground, where survivors sought refuge from the ravages of a world ravaged by nuclear devastation, life clung to existence in a fragile balance. The very air they breathed carried the haunting whispers of a toxic past, tainted by radiation that rendered the surface above a deadly realm. The once abundant resources of the surface were reduced to scarce remnants, and pure water, once taken for granted, became a treasured commodity guarded with utmost vigilance. Amidst the desolation, a new currency emerged, one measured not in wealth but in ammunition. Each bullet held the weight of survival, and the sound of gunfire echoed through the tunnels as a constant reminder of the dangers that lurked. In this underground world, where even the most basic necessities were deemed luxuries, life had become a relentless struggle against the cold, the darkness, and the ever-present specter of death. Yet, amidst the harsh realities and the numbing chill of the underground, a glimmer of hope flickered in the hearts of those who dared to resist. They clung to the belief that somewhere, deep within the labyrinthine tunnels, a path to salvation awaited—a path that would lead them to reclaim their shattered world and herald the dawn of a new era. But in this dystopian realm of Götterdämmerung, the journey towards redemption would be paved with sacrifice, survival, and the unyielding spirit of those who refused to succumb to the ashes of the past.

The Old Railway Tunnel

"The Old Railway Tunnel" My name is Titus, I'm what you call a watcher, I have seen many things...many terrible terrible things, but I have witnessed random acts of gentle kindness... I was born and raised in Bloomington Illinois, my family and I lived right next to the huge railyard... Growing up I played all around the railyard, my favorite spot was tunnel that was underneath the railyard, so workers could get from one side of Chestnut street to the other... That was what the tunnel was built for, but the whole town used it... I had a secret spot in the tunnel, hidden from view, but I could see everyone and everything passing by... One day from my hidden spot, I saw a women approaching, it was only on the rarest occasion would you see a female use this tunnel...it was a dangerous place... The women approaching didn't seem scared at all, this unnerved me, her dress was shabby to say the least, her hat covered most of her facial features... And the most unnerving thing was, it didn't seem like she was walking at all, more like hovering along... She was approaching at very slow pace, I could feel my body tensing up more and more as she approached ever so slowly... I am so nervous, so very nervous... Then I noticed a very peculiar scene, teams of big filthy rats running in from of her, screeching a deathly noise... Down in this tunnel, rats were 10 or 15 pounds, most of the time they didn't pay much attention to humans, they might scurry away if you got too close, but most of the time they didn't seem scared of humans, most of time it was the other way around... When the women was about 15 feet from my hidden spot, I smelled a deathly odor permeating the tunnel, the smell was ghastly... Slowly but surely the woman finally was right below my hiding spot...I stopped breathing...then the woman stopped...she didn't look up, as I feared she would...the only thing I heard was her snarling...then the snarl stopped... Everything in the the tunnel was dead still... Then I heard a small whisper come from the woman... "I See You Titus The Watcher" "This Night You Will Be Able Too Watch Forever" The next day crews from the railroad entered the tunnel from all three entrances, what they smelled and witnessed was rancid, they found the 15 dead bodies in the tunnel this day, each one had his eyeballs bored out, it was a gruesome scene... All the dead were homeless men that lived the the tunnels... The railroad crews didn't find what they were looking for this day, a young girl had went missing the previous evening, she was last spotted by the Western entrance to the tunnel... As the crews passed by Titus's hidden spot, Titus was just finishing his meal from the night before... Titus sat back, full belly, he looked adoringly at his newest treasure...A Pretty Pink Hair Clip... The Tunnel Still Exists...It Thought So Does Titus...

Captivated by you (Webnovel)

Secretly Captivated was a somewhat annoyingly low-profile Internet CV (Character Voice). In all of his life, he had only dubbed in two radio dramas, yet he stably sat on his throne of the number one CV in the Internet dubbing circle. He was romantic, gorgeous, charming, and touching. When he spoke, you would think that he was looking at you with a somewhat smiling expression in his eyes that made you hold your breath. Would you fall in love with a person because of his voice, regardless of his appearance, age, or family background? Would you fall in love with this person without the slightest hesitation solely because of his voice? If you asked Mo Lan questions like these, she would definitely say she would while nodding her head without the slightest hesitation. Mo Lan believed that the first time she met Gu Yemi was on the high-speed railway that was driving towards Hangzhou when she had kindly reminded him that the railway train already reached the station. However, the first time Gu Yemi met her was actually very late at night in a train on Line 2 of the Nanjing Subway. Afterward, the Internet dubber CV Secretly Captivated who had already mysteriously hidden away for three years announced that he would begin acting in new projects and became active in the Internet dubbing circle again. And after that, he announced that henceforth, he would withdraw from the circle again. Actually, the fact that Gu Yemi only briefly retired in order to find that girl who made a smiling expression from the corners of her eyes to the tips of her eyebrows when talking about him was probably not even known by Mo Lan. Afterward, he told her that in the second half of his life, he only wanted to be captivated by her. With these sincere words, he offered to give me his only and eternal life in the Internet dubbing circle.

Jewel in the Mist (BL)

In his past life, Jule was the young master of a wealthy family. He took pride in his grades and boasted his talents to the whole world, confident that his family's influence and his own intelligence would guide him to a successful future. When his father's company goes bankrupt and his family splits apart, Jule is forced away from his luxurious life and treasured home. With the spare change in his pockets, he buys a train ticket as his last travel resort. When Jule thought it couldn't get any worse, a notification from his web novel app proved him otherwise: his favorite novel - Clash of an Independent Sword - had been canceled. Then, the doors of the train split behind him, and Jule fell onto the rough railway track. Well, he thought he died. Transmigrated into a world and family so paralleled to his...except it wasn't. Jule, who (had tried to) had never hurt a fly (unless it was bothering him), was transmigrated into Clash of an Independent Sword as the annoying minor antagonist: Jule Valenti, the young master of the Valenti duchy - an aristocracy house which operated one of the best knights in the kingdom. Jule Valenti was a scummy, two-faced nuisance whose only purpose in COAIS was to make the protagonist's life harder. His first appearance was when he swapped Borealis' tournament invitation with a failed applicant because his younger sister happened to admire him. Determined to save his fate, Jule decided to befriend the novel's protagonist, Borealis Caskut by recruiting him into his duchy's knight order. Over months and years, they grew close, though Jule always wondered if their peaceful life would ever get interrupted when the main antagonist appears, or if Borealis were to realize that Jule had initially approached him with insincere intentions.

Irradiated Wolves

Zione knew the of the World Before. The World Before had been chaotic and doomed to fail. It was the human's own fault - their greed and selfishness had corrupted their hearts and made sluggards of their minds. That was why most of the world now was barren - irradiated so bad that most of the greenery and life on the planet had died. She was alive thanks to Dr. Orange and a horde of researchers and scientists, at a single lab bored deep into the heart of the Smokey Mountains. All that was left of a top secret U.S. military experiment, the base's scientists had been lucky to be zealous about their work. Only they, and the permanent lab personnel assigned there 'round the clock, were at their work stations when the End came. They continued their work, even years after. Zione knew -she- was the work they had been so zealous for. She, and numerous other hybrids created after the breakthrough, were capable in ways that their creators were not. They were stronger, faster, and immune to the degradation of harmful radioactive waves due to the nature of the genes they were spliced with. Wolves. They could run for days, and never tire. Hunt down prey for miles. And take down the most ferocious beasts of the Wastes. ...At least in theory. So when Zione and her pack are sent out to cross to the western ocean and back for reports on how the land is faring in the wake of ultimate destruction, she doesn't hestitate for a chance to unleash like she was built for. She is a genetically engineered lycan queen, sum of all experiments before her. Capable of a monstrous form just as big and bad as any nightmare that comes her way, she is the single strongest wolf in the cluster of experiments bred there. Of course, she has a number of suitors. Her pack works just as any pack of wolves does, lead by an alpha pair who takes care of the rest. But when Zione realizes that the voice in her head is the ancient diety of the real werewolves that lived hidden amoung humans in the World Before, telling her her fated mated is elsewhere, she doesn't know what she inadvertently is getting herself into. After the scientist release the werewolves with dire warnings of what will happen if they fail, she'll lead her pack through badlands, an underground railway, treacherous secrets, surprise tribal combatants and a devious new strain of psychopaths, plus more, as she learns in this new no-holds-barred, utter insanity of a nuclear apocalypse what it means to be the savior of all mankind ~ and if that is worth giving up everything she has found her own heart longing for.

Rukmineesha vijaya , special and devine love story of Krishna and rukm

Tradition has it that a work should be begun with Mangala for the happy completion of the work without any impediment, for the prosperity of the readers etc. It is three fold : 1. The invocation of the deity for blessing the author or the readers (Asihi), 2. Paying homage to the deity (namaskritya) & 3. A mere reference to the object treated in the work (Vasthu nirdesha). Sri Vadiraja has observed the first type of Mangala with a prayer to Sri Krishna to protect him using the auspicious letter 'Sri' at the beginning. Then he offers his prayers to his upAsyamurthi Hayagriva; to Rukmini, who is the goddess of speech & mind & wose consort is the hero of the peom; Sri Madhva, the guru; the better half BhArathi & her Lord Prana. (Verses 1 to 8) With mock humility, he calls upon the scholors to patronize his work, telling them that he is not a pundit & his work may have a few blemishes (Verses 9, 10) Then he sets the background for the incarnation of Sri Krishna. Here he carefully follows the 10th Skandha of Sri BhAgavatha & improves upon it adding suitable whys & wherefores in his own inimitable way & establishing the philosophical truths of our system in season & out of season. The BhAgavatha says that the goddess of earth, who groaning under the weight of the asuras, approached Vishnu through Brahma in the guise of a cow. Sri Vadiraja asks for the why of her choice as a cow & adds that because Vishnu is the friend of the cows & brAhmans, it would have an immediate & favourable effect in her mission. He also justifies her approach by adding "As the chaste wife of Vishnu, she could not brook the asuras, who as a class, are the haters of her husband" & draws a general proposition from this particular instance (ArtAntaranyAsa) as 'In this world, what can be a bigger burden to chaste women then the haters of their husbands?' Such embellishments of each & every word or idea in the BhAgavatham abound in this work. The hosts of asuras, like Kalanemi (Kamsa), Viprachitti (JarAsandha) who were all arch haters of Vishnu were born on earth & the Earth was groaning under their weight. Though she was a by word for patience, she lost it & surrendered herself to Brahma, He as well as the other gods were quite helpless & along with her, all repaired to the abode of Vishnu in the ocean of milk. They all prayed to Him chanting the Purusha Suktha, as if to hint that He was able to kill thousands of asuras, with His thousands of heads, thousands of eyes & thousands of legs etc... Vishnu was pleased to issue orders to them, through BrahmA, to whom also He was invisible, but comforting them all & consoling the Earth. Being visible to Lakshmi, He ordered her to transport Sesha in Devaki's womb to that of Rohini & she did it implicitly. Here, Lakshmi saw Him while Brahma did not see Him but heard Him & the other gods neither saw Him nor heard Him. This establishes beyond doubt the gradations in the hierarchy of gods. Shesha is Vishnu's bed & in appreciation of his yeoman service as Lakshmana in the RAmavathara, he was sent in advance as His elder brother.Sri Vadiraja observes that just as the kings send their bedding in advance to the railway station during their journey, the Emperor of the Universe also did not lag behind in doing so. Vishnu then entered Devaki's womb & there too, He was all bliss. Brahma & other gods came there & prayed to Him to rid them all of the miseries therein, which were evident to Him since He was on the spot. Then He was born at midnight, on the eighth day (Astami) of the dark fortnight, with four arms wielding the conch, mace & other weapons, wearing the golden yellow robes, & bedecked with various ornaments. Here, Sri Vadiraja says that the night time & the 8 th day are highly significant of His killing the night prowlers in all the eight directions

The first Europeans to arrive at the coast were the Portuguese, in 1471. Upon their arrival, they encountered a variety of African kingdoms some of whom controlled substantial deposits of gold in the soil. In 1482, the Portuguese built the Castle of Elmina, the first European settlement on the Gold Coast. From here they traded slaves, gold, knives, beads, mirrors, rum and guns. News spread quickly, and eventually, English, Dutch, Danish, Prussian and Swedish traders arrived as well. These European traders built several forts along the coastline. The Gold Coast had long been a name for the region used by Europeans, due to the large gold resources found in the area, although slave trade was the principal exchange for a number of years. The British Gold Coast was formed in 1821 when the British government abolished the African Company of Merchants and seized privately held lands along the coast. The remaining interests of other European countries were taken over by the British, who took over the Danish Gold Coast in 1850 and the Dutch Gold Coast including Fort Elmina in 1871. Britain steadily expanded the colony through the invasion of local kingdoms as well, particularly the Ashanti Confederacy and Fante Confederacy. The main British problem was the Ashanti people who controlled much of Ghana before the Europeans arrived and are still today the biggest community in Ghana. Four wars, the Anglo-Ashanti, Wars were fought between the Ashanti (Asante) and the British, who were sometimes in alliance with the Fante. During the First Anglo-Ashanti War (1863-1864) the two groups fought because of a disagreement over an Ashanti chief and slavery. Tensions increased in 1874 during the Second Ashanti War (1873-1874) when the British sacked the Ashanti capital of Kumasi. The Third Ashanti War (1893-1894) occurred because the new Ashanti Asantehene, ruler of the Ashanti, wanted to exercise his new title. From 1895-1896 the British and Ashanti fought in the Fourth and final Ashanti War, where the Ashanti fought for and lost their independence. In 1900 the Ashanti Uprising occurred and resulted in the capture and loss of Kumasi. This was due to an attempt to steal the Golden Stool, the Asentehene's throne. At the end of this last Ashanti War, the Ashanti people became a protectorate on 1 January 1902. By 1901, all of the Gold Coast was a British colony, with its kingdoms and tribes forming a single unit. Various natural resources - such as gold, metal ores, diamonds, ivory, pepper, timber, corn and cocoa - were shipped from the Gold Coast by the British. The British Colonisers built railways and a complicated transport infrastructure which formed the basis for the transport infrastructure in modern-day Ghana. Western hospitals and schools were also .

The death of a flower

Railcrossing. The cars on either side are waiting for the train. High speed train will come at any moment. Linemen have lowered obstacles on both sides of the level crossing. But no one frowned at that. At the risk of his life, he is crossing like that. This scene is always seen in almost all the rail crossings of the capital. Mr. Anis is sitting in the car. It is very hot. This summer he is wearing a cute suit again. The driver stopped the car and lit a cigarette. The smell of cigarettes is taking his breath away. Mr. Anis wants to get the driver out of the car by the collar and slap him hard Maybe even a little peace could be found. But the problem is, drivers can't say a word now. He left the job as soon as he was told. Those who can't go, they say for two days in a row, sir, the car is broken, it's broken. It may take at least tens of thousands to survive. Unbearably hot! Nah, not being tolerated anymore. Due to the low vegetation, the level of scorching heat is higher in urban areas. Mr. Anis sometimes thinks that if he ever becomes a minister of the country, he will fill the city with trees. Two consecutive trees 7 People in the shade of trees will stand and wait for the bus. What a beautiful sight! It's good to think about all this. It started raining. It started to rain. It's ten minutes. There is no news of the train coming. A girl is walking. Basket of roses in hand. Raindrops are falling on rose petals. The flowers are smiling. Slowly becoming alive. The girl is standing in front of the car window saying something. No one is buying her flowers. The girl is coming forward with the shadow of Maya's twilight on her sad face. Walking randomly. If one foot touches the other, it may fall to the ground. The speed at which the girl was walking did not change. He is trying hard to survive with the drizzle on his head. It has become very wet. 'Sir took a flower. Only ten teha. ' 'What's your name?' 'Flowers.' 'Your name is also a flower?' 'Yes, sir. Giya Moshammat Phulphulia is a good name. Tay Amma caresses and burns flowers. ' 'How many flowers have you sold all day?' 'Eyes are not good. Rainy days. There is no trade. Theika Mela fever-cold last night. It seems a little less, so I went out with flowers. ' 'Won't the wet fever increase in this rain?' 'Even if the fever increases, it is good. Stay at home I don't want to eat anything. It feels so comfortable, so hunger is pressing. This is a palette of flowers. There was no need to feed the lost days. ' 'How many flowers are in your basket?' '12 flowers. 120 teha. If you take it all, give it to Duida for free. ' 'Keep this 500, how?' Fulphulia is staring. Blind fish sight. He has never seen such an incident. This is the first time he saw a 500 rupees note. 'Where do you live?' 'Sir, isn't there a big slum near Malibagh railway gate? That's where Thahi is. ' No rain. Wet wet air is coming from far away. Fulphulia's face has become brighter. What a sweet look of the girl! Long eyelids, shady eyes. Those eyes are smiling all the time. Her curly hair is also flying in the wind. The train is coming forward with a long whistle. Fulphulia is looking at the 500 rupees note upside down. Seeing the train crossing the line. The melody of the lineman's flute, the terrible whistle of the train he can't hear. Maybe you will never hear again. * Author: saidul Robin
