Narwhal Unicorn Of The Sea

The Unicorn's Forest

Vol 1: The Unicorn's Forest Charlie Rivers is a 14-year old girl who is trying to get through high school without being noticed when she finds herself hearing a voice asking for help when she is only one of two who can hear it. She agrees, despite the fact the other person is someone she doesn't like. When she meets the 'voice' that needed help, she learns that it's a unicorn, yet she's the only one who seems to be able to see the horn. Everyone else thinks it's a horse. Charlie also learns that by having agreed to help the unicorn, she'd gotten herself involved with a group of friends, including the other person who can hear the unicorn, that she hadn’t been really involved with before. Not only is it changing her normal schedule drastically, given she hadn’t hung out with anyone before, but even her personal space seems under attack at times. As she continues to help the unicorn, she funds that going back to how she was isn’t as attractive as it had once been, before she was helping the unicorn but also she wonders if she really would want to. *Minor spoiler in the synopsis for vol. 2 if you haven't read vol. 1* Vol 2: Tip of Other Worlds Charlie and her friends begin traveling to other worlds in search of the world that the griffin canyon connects to. While they do that, Charlie finds herself torn with wanting to grow her relationship with Alex and beginning the expedition through different worlds. Then as the expedition begins, she finds more than she ever expected to find on other worlds, but ever in the back of her mind is the dream she had in which Beth, her best friend, dies in. A dream she's determined to keep from happening, even if she has to sacrifice the friendship that's come to mean so much to her. *Minor spoilers in vol. 3 synopsis* Vol. 3: Acclimating to a New World Charlie leaves her friends and is taken by The Lost. Her friends continue on and encounter a family who has the same disease they had just recovered from. While helping them, they learn about how this world is that of a matriarchal society and has been since ancient times. What that means they can't say, only that it's going to be awkward. Charlie comes to after a while, feeling like her brain had been I'm a fog and that she had been in a waking dream, only to find she's naked and in a kind of cage where she learns she's been taken as a slave. While she has no idea how this happened, she's determined to find a chance to successfully get out of that situation. Mature content will be either through implications or will only extend to the edge of it. The cover art was ai generated. The Unicorn's Curse

In her past life, she was a majestic unicorn, revered as a sacred guardian of the forest. Her silver mane gleamed under moonlight, her horn a beacon of purity and power. But her tranquil life ended brutally at the hands of a human hunter, her shimmering blood staining the earth she once protected. Now, she awakens to an unwelcome reality—a human body. Reborn by the will of a capricious goddess, the former unicorn is told she must walk among the very species she despises to "learn the intricacies of humanity." With no horn to defend herself, her ethereal beauty becomes a double-edged sword, drawing the attention of suitors from all walks of life: a cunning nobleman seeking a trophy wife, a dashing rogue who claims to see through her icy demeanor, a stoic knight who pledges undying loyalty, and even a mysterious mage who suspects her otherworldly origins. But their adoration is a curse, not a blessing. Resentful of her fragile human form and her inability to protect herself as she once did, she yearns only for the return of her horn—a symbol of her pride and power. She dreams of using it to drive away the persistent men vying for her affection and reclaiming the strength she lost. As she navigates a world of political intrigue, forbidden magic, and deep-seated prejudices, she is forced to confront the complexities of human emotions and morality. Can she find a way to reconcile her past and present selves? Or will her quest to reclaim her former glory come at the cost of understanding what it truly means to be human? ------------------------------------------------------------------ Author's Note: Publishing Schedule Update Dear Readers, Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for my stories! Kingdom of the Pearl of the Orient

In the waning years of Spanish colonial rule in the Philippines, a young boy named Alfonso XIII was proclaimed King of Spain in 1886. However, being just a child, his mother, Queen Maria Christina, ruled as regent in his place. Queen Maria Christina adopted a somewhat lenient policy, granting the Filipinos a degree of freedom while still keeping them as subjects of the Spanish monarchy. As time passed, the Philippines remained under Spanish rule until it was finally passed on to Alfonso, Prince of Asturias, in 1920. But Alfonso, wise beyond his years, saw the plight of the Filipino people and understood their deep desire for independence in their hearts. He made a momentous decision – renouncing his claim to the Spanish throne and requesting to govern the Philippines instead. Surprisingly, the Spanish monarch agreed to this arrangement, and Alfonso was given the unique responsibility of managing the Philippines as a separate entity. But unknown to everyone, the original Alfonso, Prince of Asturias, died due to drowning accident and was replaced by Miguel Reyes. In a world reminiscent of the early twentieth century but with a twist, Miguel Reyes, a brilliant scientist, engineer, military enthusiast, and businessman from the Philippines, found himself in a strange predicament. After a fatal car accident in 2023, Miguel was granted an extraordinary second chance at life. He awakened to find his soul inexplicably reincarnated into the body of a prince in a distant land. Confused and disoriented at first, Miguel soon discovered that he was inhabiting none other than the young Alfonso, Prince of Asturias, decades before his untimely death. Realizing the significance of this opportunity, Miguel knew he had to act wisely. He had lived a life devoted to knowledge and progress, and now he found himself in a pivotal position to change history for the better. Armed with the knowledge of Alfonso's fate and aware of the impending struggles faced by the Philippines, Miguel resolved to take a different path. Join Alfonso (Miguel Reyes) on a life-changing experience. Will Miguel Reyes find tranquility in his second life as he governs the nation and steers it towards greatness? Or will he face the shadow of a conspiracy lurking within the borders?

Sea of knowledge

What is the meaning of Life? A question which has different answers. Many find life pointless, many find life as a journey, many find life as a way to get eternal freedom. But what is the correct answer? The cycle of Life and Death are like two sides of the same coin. Whatever may be the case, Death is always the ultimate salvation. But that doesn't sit right with Kai Mizuhara, a normal teenager who seeks to become someone respected and find the true essence of life. Born in a very reputable family of a blacksmith, Kai has seen many Royal Families as his father directly serves for the military. He has seen how the poor live, how the rich live, how the nobles live and most importantly how ignorant God's of their world is towards people all around. He always wonders, everyone worships God's as they're the supreme being, the one who is always right and will be right but he always questions himself...Are the God's of their world truly how they potray themselves as? A world which is constantly getting in wars. That's the world he lives in, Kingdoms from all over the world trying to over power each other and prove themselves as the strongest, wanting God's recognition to ascend further rather than staying a lowly mortal. Yes, it is possible for a human to ascend to godhood. People in his world would do anything for power and God. That's something he has accepted long ago, commoners like him will get forgotten and ultimately be crushed by the higher ranks. Though the temporary peace which has taken over the world has changed many things, it's not a matter of how it will end but when will it end? Kai wants to do many things, but he simply doesn't have much time. That's a harsh reality a mortal like him has to face, he can die at any given time if that's what his fate is. The God's of their world have really created a system, the one who's weak will soon perish and the strongest will strive forward and ascend the ranks, finding eternal peace. It may sound confusing but a system like this allows some mortals with great strength and wisdom to ascend further and beyond. When the light forsakes this world, will knowledge lead to salvation—or to its end? A fantasy world which takes place in a very middle aged world. That's what this novel is about. They say every work of fiction is a journey, whether it's good or not is something upto the readers...let us see what this new journey has to offer.

To Sleep In The Sea Of Time

This is a story of a guy who loses everything, and then gets it back. Same old new world story, just a different kind of story teller. *** They took away our hunter tags. They had us grow our hair. They gave us a new brand, when we were over there. They staged us out of Dragur, East of the Olim Horn. I guess they call us Slaves, but no one calls us much anymore. There is no fun in killing. I don't want to do it anymore. Karn brought Sorrow. Pookie brought Fear. Milk brought the fly boys. They did work in Undia. I worked mostly clandestine. Some Legends I should not say. We played with better wands. I could use the extra pay. Did Mara give the order? Did venom pay the way? They said we were slaying demons, but it was kind of hard to tell. There is no fun in killing. I don't want to do it anymore. This was before HALO, and Codex was king. Hej atop the rider, he never felt a thing. When our rider caught a spell, and both the mages killed. It pitched us over sideways on some cold Sylph hill. My back felt like it was broken, my legs I could not feel. I kept on slaying demons, but it was kind of hard to tell. There is no fun in killing. I don't want to do it anymore. I never did heal up right from injuries sustained Officially in Torin, unofficially we train. I remember all their faces. They dream about me still. I guess I'm slaying demons, but it's kind of hard to tell. There no fun in killing. I don't want to do it anymore. I speak the cold logistic, that old boys speak so well. Veni, Vedi, Vici. I'll see you in Hel. Maybe it's bravado, or an unspeakable guilt. That village, they were demons, but it was kind of hard to tell. There is no fun in killing. I don't wanna to do it anymore. I've done plenty. What is one more? -Corb Lund *** Come guess me this riddle. What beats shire leaves and fiddle? What is hotter than pleasures touch, and whiter than cream? What best wets his whistle? What is clearer than crystal? What is sweeter than honey and stronger than steam? What will make the lame walk? What will make the dumb talk? What is the elixir of life and philosopher's stone? And what helped Pookie-Baba dig up a tunnel, that runs from Shalamanda to West-Torin? When you are digging a crater, It is the best thing in nature, for sinking your sorrows and raising your joys. Sometimes I wonder, if lightning and thunder, is made out of the plunder, of the reddest hiski and oils. *** If you can keep your head when all about you, are losing theirs and blaming it on you. If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, but make allowance for their doubting too. If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise. If you can dream, and not make dreams your master. If you can think, and not make thoughts your aim. If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, and treat those two impostors just the same. If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken, twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, and stoop and build them up with worn-out tools. If you can make one heap of all your winnings, and risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss and lose, and start again at your beginnings, and never breathe a word about your loss. If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew, to serve your turn long after they are gone, and so hold on when there is nothing in you; Except the Will which says to them ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, nor walk with Kings, nor lose the common touch. If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you. If all men count with you, but none too much. If you can fill the unforgiving minute, with sixty seconds worth of distance, run. Yours is the World and everything that’s in it, and which is more you’ll be a Man, my son. - Rudyard Kipling
