My Fury System: bringing chaos to the world

Zhao Feng stood tall, his eyes blazing with defiance as he faced the formidable warrior, Jin Tian. Jin Tian's face twisted in rage, his massive fists clenched, ready to strike. "You're just a foolish mortal, Jin Tian," Zhao Feng sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. "Your strength is nothing but a joke. You're just a brute, relying on your physical prowess to intimidate others." "Fury +5000" Jin Tian's face turned beet red, his eyes bulging with fury. "You dare to insult me?! I'll crush you!" Zhao Feng chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots." In a crowded tavern, Zhao Feng sat at a table, sipping a mug of ale. Across from him, the stunning beauty, Ling'er, glared at him, her face pale with anger. "You're nothing but a shameless dog, Zhao Feng," Ling'er spat, her voice venomous. "You think you're clever, but you're just a coward, using your words to hurt others." Zhao Feng grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Ah, Ling'er, you're so beautiful when you're angry. But let's be real, you're not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?" "Fury +3000" Ling'er's face turned scarlet, her eyes flashing with rage. "How dare you!" Zhao Feng chuckled, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I forgot that beauty and brains don't always go hand in hand." Zhao Feng stood at the edge of a cliff, gazing out at the breathtaking landscape below. A faint smile played on his lips as he reflected on his journey so far. "Ah, the Fury System," he whispered, his eyes gleaming with gratitude. "You've really helped me, haven't you? I've grown stronger, smarter, and more ruthless." He chuckled, his voice carrying on the wind. "And I've brought chaos to this world, haven't I? The strong are trembling, and the weak are cowering." Zhao Feng's smile widened, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "But that's what makes life interesting, doesn't it? The uncertainty, the danger, the thrill of the unknown." He raised his hands, embracing the wind, the sun, and the world below. "Bring it on, world. I'm ready for whatever you throw my way." As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the world in a warm, golden light, Zhao Feng's laughter echoed through the valleys, a haunting melody that sent shivers down the spines of those who heard it.

Genesis's Chosen Hero but I rather quit

[Genesis System rebooting after 76 years of inactivity.] [Administrator Slot: Vacant.] [New Administrator Confirmed:—] The screen flickers. For a moment, the letters distort—glitching between gold and blood-red. A name appears. [Administrator Confirmed:—Elias Vaughn.] A sharp ringing fills my ears. The name means nothing to me, but the system hesitates. The text wavers, blurring, like it’s… realizing its mistake. Then, the letters dissolve. [Administrator Identity Error.] [Correcting…] [New Administrator Confirmed: Christian Arkwright.] A cold shiver crawls down my spine. I open my eyes, and the world isn’t mine. My breath catches—too soft, too light. My limbs ache, but they feel… small? My fingers curl. Slender. Pale. Delicate. This isn’t my body. The floating screen pulses again, words forming in golden light. [Primary Abilities Bestowed:] Creation Magic Spatial Manipulation Magic? My mind stutters, but before I can process it, another notification flashes. [Warning: You are a Deviant.] [Deviants are to be executed by royal decree.] [Status: In Hiding.] I freeze. [The world has forgotten me, but you must not forget what I left behind.] [Survive. Learn. Creed: World’s Strongest

“You’ve been researching for years with nothing to show for it. Why not try something else?” Samia’s tone was sharp, but there was a thread of concern beneath it as she leaned against the doorframe. The room smelled faintly of sterilizing agents, and the rhythmic clicking of keys filled the silence. Dr. Elias didn’t respond immediately. Dressed in his lab coat, he stared at the screen with unwavering focus, his fingers flying over the keyboard. When he finally turned to her, a slow, almost unsettling smile spread across his face. For a moment, he looked like any other scientist lost in his work—until he blinked. The motion was unnatural, his eyelids sliding horizontally across his eyes like a lizard’s. “Samia,” he said, his voice calm but electric with excitement, “I’ve figured it out. This time, it will work.” She opened her mouth to respond, but he was already on his feet, moving past her with an urgency that demanded she follow. They made their way through the sterile corridors of the facility, the fluorescent lights overhead casting a cold glow on the walls. The reinforced chamber was a stark contrast to the rest of the building. Thick steel doors hissed as they opened, and the hum of machinery grew louder as they stepped inside. In the center of the room stood a massive contraption—a web of wires, tubes, and blinking monitors surrounding a sleek, cylindrical core. “What is it this time?” Samia asked, her arms crossed tightly against her chest. Dr. Elias didn’t answer. Instead, he moved with practiced precision, attaching cables and adjusting dials. The air felt heavier here, charged with the anticipation of something monumental—or catastrophic. “Get your goggles,” he said at last, stepping behind the protective glass. He tapped the side of his goggles, the lenses catching the faint blue glow of the machine. Samia hesitated. She had seen him fail before. Years of promises and miscalculations had made her wary, but there was something different in his demeanor this time—something unsettlingly confident. Reluctantly, she turned and jogged back to the lab to retrieve her goggles. The first explosion hit when she was halfway down the hall. The floor bucked beneath her, and she stumbled, her heart leaping into her throat. A deep, resonating boom echoed through the building, followed by a blaring alarm. “Dr. Elias!” she shouted, spinning around. Smoke and dust billowed toward her, and the acrid scent of burning wires filled the air. Part of the ceiling had collapsed, cutting off her path back to the reinforced chamber. And then she saw it. Through the swirling haze, a glowing orb hovered in the wreckage, pulsating with a light that seemed alive. It started small, no bigger than her fist, but it was growing—expanding with an eerie, deliberate rhythm. The hum it emitted was low and bone-deep, vibrating through the air and into her chest. “No, no, no,” she muttered, backing away. Every instinct screamed at her to run. She turned and bolted for the exit, her shoes skidding on the slick floor as she raced against the inevitable. She had barely reached the stairwell when a second explosion ripped through the building. The force of it threw her forward, and she hit the ground hard. Her vision blurred as heat and light engulfed her. Somewhere in the distance, she heard the structure groan as it gave way entirely. Then, everything went black.

Trapped with the Billionaire

Blurb: The elevator’s lights flickered once—then twice—before everything went pitch black. A sharp metallic screech echoed as the car jerked violently, sending Mia tumbling to the floor, her breath catching in her chest. She barely had time to process what was happening before a deep, commanding voice cut through the darkness. "Stay down." Mia’s heart skipped a beat as she looked up to find herself face-to-face with the last person she ever expected to see: Elijah Blackwell, the enigmatic and ruthless billionaire CEO of Blackwell Enterprises. Cold, calculating, and untouchable, he was a man whose name commanded fear and respect. But there was no time for awe. The building’s alarms screamed in the distance, but it was the deafening thud of distant explosions that stole Mia’s attention. Her pulse shot into overdrive. The elevator began to tremble again, its descent rapid and uncontrollable, as if the very foundation of the tower were coming undone. “What’s happening?” she whispered, her voice strained. Elijah’s eyes, glinting even in the faint emergency lighting, met hers—dark, intense, and utterly unshaken. “We’re under attack. Stay close,” he said, the command in his voice unmistakable. Mia’s stomach dropped. Under attack? By whom? And why her? She was just a cleaner. But before she could question him further, the elevator lurched again, the cables creaking as they hurtled downward. Every second felt like an eternity, but Elijah stood still, his expression as unreadable as ever. This wasn’t fear in his eyes—it was something far more dangerous: control. As the elevator plummeted, Mia’s thoughts spiraled into chaos. She’d only come to work this morning to do her usual rounds, expecting nothing more than a monotonous day of dusting and cleaning up after the high-powered men and women who owned the building. But now, she was trapped in an elevator with the very man who controlled this empire—facing a threat she couldn’t even comprehend. A sudden burst of heat shot through the small space as another explosion rocked the building, shaking the walls. The emergency lights blinked erratically, casting eerie shadows over them. In that moment, Mia realized something unsettling: Elijah wasn’t just the billionaire CEO. He was the only person who could protect her now. But how far was he willing to go to keep them both alive? And more importantly, why did she suddenly feel drawn to him in ways she couldn’t explain? The air between them grew heavy with an attraction neither of them could ignore, but was it a dangerous distraction—one that could cost them both everything?

I'll become the Novelist who goes down in history

"How can a person plan to go through history when 35 of their books were all rejected?" Well, that's Manon, a teenager with the wildest imagination. Manon had only one wish. She made that wish every single day, but nothing happened until the necklace entered her life. "Where am I?" "Good afternoon, Miss Manon. How was your day?" Manon's eyes were wide open. "Are you my necklace?" "Yes, I am, and you can talk." "Wow! Can I ask one last thing? Am I sleeping?" "No, you're not." Manon tried to faint, until she saw the necklace turn into something. "Are you a bunny now? How did you...?" "There's more where that came from," it replied. "And I will grant you each power to become the novelist who goes down in history. But you have to go through some processes." "What do you mean? What's with that mischievous smile you're having? I don't like it," Manon said, her eyebrows furrowed, her blue eyes looking at the bunny. Her eyes got even wider when it turned into a bird. "First, you go through relationships: have your first kiss, make out, then you unlock a new power to be able to write. The more levels you obtain, the bigger the price. Your reward for your next mission is Romance. You write to make people reading it feel like they are there." "What do you mean by 'making out'? Don't worry, in time you will learn. Trust me, it's going to be fun." "How can I trust a necklace that talks, turns into a rabbit, then a bird?" It looked at her. "Fair enough. So, are you ready to have your first mission? Look at your watch." "What watch?" Manon looked at her left hand. "Oh. How? Talking necklace, I'm not surprised for some reason." "First Mission: Fall in love and date the most famous and cutest guy in your high school." "What?!" How will Manon take this new mission? Stay tuned to know more missions she is going to entangle. The Server's Chronicle: A Fantasy Of Faith

Senior Server Felix stood at the front of the church, his voice steady and solemn as he greeted the congregation. “Our help is in the name of the Lord,” he intoned. “Who made Heaven and Earth,” the people responded in unison, their voices matching his reverent tone. “Today, we initiate new members into this divine and holy Order,” Felix continued. “Today, we welcome new brethren into the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.” At the back of the church, Louis sat on one of the few single chairs, his posture slightly slouched as his focus remained on a sheet of music in his hands. The title read, "Brightest and Best – Key of A-flat." 'Why didn’t Gramps give me an F or G? A-flat is so difficult, and I only have three days to finish it,' he grumbled silently, his brow furrowing in frustration. But he dared not voice his complaints. He could already imagine his grandfather assigning him even more difficult pieces—F-sharps and endless A-flats—as punishment. From the front of the church, a serene voice called out, “Harry! Step forward!” Louis glanced up, momentarily pulled from his inner musings. His eyes landed on a girl stepping forward from the pews. She had black hair neatly styled in a bun and striking green eyes that seemed to shine with warmth and composure. Dressed in a modest brown dress and black sandals, with a rosary resting gracefully around her neck, she exuded a calm, dignified presence. Her tanned skin and graceful demeanor only added to the aura of reverence surrounding her, befitting an Altar server. 'Sigh,' Louis thought as he brushed a hand through his white hair, his blue eyes softening with a mix of admiration and envy. 'I wonder what it’s like to be an Altar server. They all seem so pure and divine… and powerful.' Just as he returned his attention to his music, a calm, gentlemanly voice spoke beside him. “You could also be an Altar server, if you’re interested.” “Huh?” Louis blurted out, snapping his head to the side. But no one was there. “What in the name of Jesus is going on here?” he muttered, glancing nervously around. “At least you know my name,” the voice replied again, seemingly amused. “What?” Louis whispered, his heart beginning to race. "I'm certain you will be a good server," the voice said, calm yet enigmatic. Louis narrowed his eyes, still searching for its source. "Who are you?" "I have many personalities. I have many names," the voice replied with an air of mystery. "It’s your choice which one you accept." "You’re not making any sense," Louis muttered, growing more unsettled. "Blessed are those who have not seen but believed…" Before Louis could respond, his vision blurred, and the world around him seemed to melt away. He jolted awake, gasping for air. His hands clutched the crumpled sheet of music, its corners bent from his restless grip. His head teetered precariously over the edge of his bed, a faint ache in his neck reminding him of the awkward position he’d been in. "Holy Mother of Jesus!" he exclaimed as he lost his balance, tumbling off the bed in a heap of blankets and scattered papers.

Hidden Identity, Unveiled Love

"HER SECRET IS A KEY FOR HIM." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She's hiding her identity, and he's finding his parents. She's a spy, and he's a business tycoon. How did they meet? What happened to them after their first meeting? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ann is alive, Granny!" John exclaimed, embracing his grandmother with a surge of joy that filled the room with warmth. John squeezed Granny Ria tightly, blissfully unaware of the storm brewing around him. Tears glistened in her eyes as she clung to him, grappling with the weight of a truth she could scarcely bear to share. 'How can I possibly tell you, John?' Granny Ria worried silently. As John released his grandmother, his gaze darted to the living room, where two faces he recognized yet barely recognized stared back at him. A heavy sigh escaped his lips as he contemplated the tension in the air. Memories flooded back—joyful teenage years brimming with laughter and love from his parents. But now, the happiness he once knew was eclipsed by a tightly clenched fist, his knuckles pale and tense. He turned sharply to Granny Ria, a fierce determination in his eyes. "Why are they here? I told you, Granny, I don’t want to see them!" he demanded, his voice echoing with unresolved pain. Granny Ria raised a hand, yearning to comfort her grandson, but he recoiled, knowing her allegiance would tilt towards her son and his wife. "Why the hell have you come back? You always show up right as I find my happiness! Just leave me alone!" John shouted, anger seeping from every word. His mother's eyes glistened with unspoken sorrow as she longed to reach out to him, to embrace him before he could push her away again, fearing he would reject her for the fact she sat in a wheelchair. With a heavy step, John’s father rose from the sofa and approached his son, who had shut his eyes tightly, emotion crashing over him like a wave. In a moment that evoked both fear and tenderness, John’s father enveloped him in a fierce hug. John, overwhelmed by the tidal wave of emotion, broke down, sobs pouring out like the rush of a storm. For the first time in years, he cried like a child, his father’s hand soothingly rubbing his back, a faint hope kindling in their shared moment. The day stretched endlessly for the Evans family, heavy with unspoken words and fractured bonds. After what felt like an eternity of tears, John blinked away the remnants of his grief and turned to his father, desperation in his voice. “Ann?” His father met his gaze, flooded with helplessness and compassion. Frozen in place, John surveyed the people who surrounded him—his father, mother, and beloved grandmother. Words escaped him as he turned and walked away, each step echoing the weight of his heart. The air hung thick with unspoken truths, and the night was just beginning. The Erratum

“Aegir..” A single word remains in Cetas’ mind as he succumbs to the everlasting pressure of the depths - a glimmer of light filtering from above. He floats endlessly, the tidal currents rushing his body to who-knows-where yet he remains unconscious as the word echoes in his mind. He no longer remembers any memories that he once had but only mere fragments of what his past once was. A depth-dweller. A long lost race of ancient, forgotten in history as humans usurped the throne of the world, claiming superiority amongst other races of legend. After the war of mystics, only humans endured to live and gather themselves once more - dominating the entire world by force. Yet, depth dwellers remained - hidden and forgotten. And now.. The first would rise up on the surface. For hours upon hours, Cetas let the currents take him away, rendering his consciousness useless everytime he woke up. But now, it seemed that a warm and radiating light pierced his very pressurized skin. It was.. unfamiliar. He opened his eyes only to be greeted by a rocking hull, shaking synchronously with the sound of crashing waves. Yet, somewhere near him, he heard a faint and soft voice speaking a foreign language. He shifted his head to the direction of the voice and saw an unfamiliar face of a golden-haired lady with sea-like blue eyes, staring at him with utmost curiosity. The lady opened her mouth and let out another wave of unfamiliar words. Perplexed, Cetas sat up slowly, moving his body sluggishly. He then gazed at his surroundings, first staring at the massive rocking hull and onto the wooden floor and to the people surrounding him. Some wore bandanas and others wore white-loose blouses paired with leather boots and tricorn hats. However, Cetas wasn’t at all surprised by the unfamiliar scenery. But rather, he gazed above the sky, reaching far beyond the clouds, and saw the burning sphere of light that penetrated his deep-black eyes. Upon staring for 5 seconds he instinctively winced in pain. “Ow!” He looked around once more, pacing his head back and forth towards the unfamiliar people around him, and pondered, “Where am I?”
