After a mysterious event brought the galaxies of the universe closer together, the world changed. Technology advanced rapidly, and the presence of mana brought along wizards. After a devasting war on Earth, humans decided to expand, taking control of their galaxy. In the present day, Mechas and Wizards are what symbolizes power. For those that couldn't awaken, the technology of the future was just as good. Enter Jamie, an 18-year-old that lives on a space colony with his little brother. He lived his life with his street smarts, tenacity, love of music from an ancient era called the 19th Century, and help from his mechanic friend that he - might - have a crush on. His whole life he lived on the streets of a slum, knowing nothing but suffering and oppression, save for a few good moments. But one day, after getting beat up by a couple of cops, his life changes as he finds a mecha in a ditch! Discovering the mecha's unique ability of being able to use magic, Jamie will have to grow stronger and level up his mecha while hiding his secret that others would stop at nothing to have, at least until he's strong enough to protect himself and those he loves.
