Angry Birds Leonard

Caged Within an Artificial Eternity

In this cage...there was no afterlife... Within the birdcage...there were neither deities, nor captors... Life was simple and meaningless. Death was truly and bluntly, an end. The birds held captive in their cage were unable to escape, for no matter how starved or frantic a chick was, they couldn't dent steel with their soft beaks. Who could feed the starving birds? They couldn't even feed themselves? The birds, trapped in their infuriating prison and desperate for any food at all, celebrated in joy when a banquet started! Food for as far as their eyes wished to imagine! And what a FEAST it WAS! The survivors stood over the leftovers of their meals, their ravenous beaks licking away the blood staining their tainted feathers. They knew this solution wasn't sustainable, and rather than waste away by praying to a non-existent heaven, they grafted their own Gods out of the bones of their former kin. ___________________________________ "The Birdcage" is a world with a barrier made of an indestructible material at its edges, from earth to sky. Inside this confined land, lavish resources filled the fields for as far as one could wish for, though its inhabitants were alone without any other living creatures outside of themselves. The world was peaceful and prosperous, until an unknown cataclysmic plague swept the land, poisoning and rotting almost all natural resources and food that existed. The people, starving and in despair without so much as a god to pray to for help, resorted to the only food left in the entire birdcage. Themselves. After the ensuing frenzy, they forged a ritual for a chance at salvation. They created their own Gods known as, “Concepts,” that embodied their artificial beliefs and ideas, though their desperation only furthered the destruction of what was considered natural. The world is fading away. There’s no point in family, society, nor unity. Either find a fleeting, pointless escape, or succumb to your fate and be devoured by the starving.

Quick Transmigration Baby Raising System: Bonus Daddy Included

[Processing dead body... 45%... 56%... 99.9%... ding!] [Error.] [Reprocessing dead body... soul found... ding! 2%... 5%... 59%... 67%... 99%... ding! 99.9%] [Process incomplete.] The woman had red hair that glowed like embers. Her face was strikingly fair, but her entire body appeared faintly transparent like glass under sunlight. She blinked, disoriented, as her gaze settled on a hideous, robotic bird hovering nearby. Its sharp, angular body looked mismatched, with awkwardly stiff wings and an oversized beak that glowed menacingly. It was focused on her lifeless body on the ground, shooting thin, bright laser beams across her body. Hazel stared at the bird, her figure stiffening. "What in the world..." she whispered, her voice echoing faintly. If you're confused, let me explain. Just a few minutes ago, Hazel had been driving, enjoying the breeze through her open window. That's when she noticed a tiny puppy stranded in the middle of the road, trembling and helpless. Her instincts kicked in. Without thinking twice, she swerved, steering the car sharply to avoid hitting it. The puppy was safe. But Hazel wasn't. Her car had crashed, and she died instantly. Now, Hazel had become a ghost. Her body felt strange—light and weightless, yet she could feel every movement as if she were still alive. She floated, her hair billowing as though caught in an invisible current. Then came the noise. Ding! The sound was loud, sharp, and mechanical. Hazel flinched, looking around until her eyes landed on the robotic bird. It was still scanning her dead body with its obnoxious laser beams, beeping and whirring as if annoyed at its own failures. Hazel frowned, watching it from a distance, but after what felt like the tenth scan, her curiosity got the better of her. She floated closer, hovering near the hideous creature. It twitched, almost startled by her presence, before it froze completely. Ding! [Process complete] [Congratulations, soul number XOXO, for binding with the Baby-Raising System!] Hazel blinked, her ghostly hand clutching at her chest out of habit—forgetting she had no heartbeat anymore. "The what system?" [Newbie Packet detected! Festive Season Bonus activated for Host.] Ding! [Opening gift automatically… Bonus Daddy included in every world.] She froze, her hands dropping to her sides. Her mouth opened slightly in disbelief as the robotic bird chirped happily, almost smugly. "Wait... what? Bonus Daddy?!" Hazel's transparent figure seemed to flicker with frustration. Her chest rose and fell as if she was still breathing, though no air passed through her. The bird made another cheerful ding! sound, completely ignoring her shock. "What is this? Some kind of sick prank?" Hazel muttered, pacing in her ghostly form. She glanced at her lifeless body again, then back at the bird, her mind racing. She was dead. That much was obvious. But now she was... stuck in some baby-raising system? "What the heck is going on?" Hazel hissed, throwing her hands up.
