A world full of humanoid animals called Anisarians divided into 12 different habitat nations. Petty squabbles and past rivalries have erupted into all out World War between the nations, forcing all caught in the crossfire to choose a side. In the chaos are five interconnected stories of heroes and villains, mighty rulers, and humble refugees just trying to make it through the turbulent times they now find themselves unable to escape from. Only the strongest shall rule in an age of betrayal, conquest, and atrocities. But in a world turned monstrous. Some will not give in to what instinct demand's them to be in order to survive. Somewhere in Transylvania a weary merchant by the name Ion Goia finds himself seeking shelter in a decrepit village at the edge of a deserted noble's territory. In the distance the silhouette of an abandoned castle can be seen luminated by the pale full moon high in the sky. After long and hard days of journey, Ion Goia came across a tiny and shabby hamlet and with no other choice, pressed by the howls(of what he hopped to be wolves) and other such strange cries heard far in the dark forest around him, this rundown village seems like a better choice than to camp out in the wilds. He enters the village and makes his way to what seems to be the only Inn around here, tough its a little more than a tavern. The innkeeper welcomes him warmly and over a cup of wine spins a tale of a legendary ghost hunter. After a restless night dawn finally comes and Ion departs from the forgotten village, eager to leave its dreadful aura behind. But as he crosses the boundary on the settlement and looks back, the village is nowhere to be found. All he can see is a ruined village and a desolate wasteland.
