Stephen king

A Memoir of the Craft is a memoir by American author Stephen King that describes his experiences as a writer and his advice for aspiring writers. Originally published in 2000 by Charles Scribner's Sons, On Writing is King's first book after he was involved in a car accident a year earlier. Scribner later republished the memoir twice, in 2010 and 2020. The 10th anniversary edition featured an updated reading list from King; whereas the 20th anniversary edition includes contributions from King's two sons, Joe Hill and Owen. On Writin First edition cover Author Stephen King Published 2010 (10th anniversary edition) 2020 (20th anniversary edition) On Writing is organized into five sections: "C.V.", in which King highlights events in his life that influenced his writing career; "What Writing Is", in which King urges the reader to take writing seriously; "Toolbox", which discusses English mechanics; "On Writing", in which King details his advice to aspiring writers; and "On Living: A Postscript", in which King describes his van accident and how it affected his life. In 2008, Entertainment Weekly included On Writing on their "The New Classics: Books – The 100 best reads from 1983 to 2008" list.[1] Both Sharon Johnson in The Patriot-News and Julie Woo for the Associated Press, in separate reviews, praised King's advice as "solid".[2][3] John Mark Eberhart, writing in the Sunday Free Lance-Star, called King's writing advice "pedestrian", but ultimately concluded that On Writing was "a slight but transitionally important work that should lead [King] to better things."[4]

Get Back to You

NOTE: Get Back To you is an LGBT novel series. Synopsis: She is back? Giselle is back! And she didn’t want me to know! Lillian Grey’s life went pretty wild without Giselle. She dated people to her wish and broke up with them to her comfort until a young model called Lucy came close to capturing her heart. Anna waited as Lillian stumped upon hearing the familiar name she had desperately searched for several years. And it came with a stab. “If you want, I can deliver a message,” Anna proposed after hearing Lillian become speechless in their phone call. Knowing well how she had come out to spend time with Lucy, Lillian refused to respond when confessed to such shocking news. Nevertheless, later to her own dismay, she delivered her message to her good friend, Anna, hoping that it would reach Giselle somehow. ******************** “Giselle, I’m glad to hear that you’re back. I hope you’re in good health. Well, I heard about your party and that you have invited Anna and not me, which is surprising news to learn. It’s alright. Things are different now for you, I guess. But here’s my message in case you even care: Don’t ever show yourself in front of me. Ever again. Why? Because I know I cannot stop myself from choosing you if I ever see your face again. What you gave me is irreplaceable. I still have it in my heart. It didn’t let me live my life in peace. However, I’ve decided to take a chance without your memories this one time. So, let me be. And congratulations on your marriage and your kid. I pray for your happiness. You know, I do. Take care. Love you, evermore.” - Lillian Grey ******************* Follow the incredible story of Lillian Grey and Giselle: Two souls bonded by love yet, pulled apart by the external forces. The two women meet years later to find out the subtle fire still tingling inside, allowing them to reconcile. But the question is: Will they accept it or not? A Message from the Author: Hey guys, 'Get Back To You' is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potential for a perfect novel, and the characters had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. I hope that my efforts reap when the readers enjoy the tale as they travel through this journey. UPDATE!! I am so proud to announce that I will be self-publishing ‘Get Back To You’ as series. I plan to do an eBook series first before paperback. And right now, Volume 1: A Message to Her is available on Amazon Kindle Store. After four years of writing this series, I finally chose to publish it. The published eBook/paperback is going to be even better version and professionally edited for enhanced reading experience. SANCTUM

***Published in Amazon (paperback/ebook*** "Silence your tongue Aurora." He promptly commanded before he cupped her chin and pressed his palatable lips into her mouth. It was a whirlwind of chaos. Her mouth was covered entirely with his own. He savagely torpedoed his tongue and flicked and sparred it with hers until she moaned in protest. She pushed his chest forcefully back, but he only seized her hands and pinned them on the door. She moaned again, this time feeling breathless. He didn't give her any respite even with this however. He used his power to control the air and ordered it to fill her lungs with enough oxygen so that she wouldn't faint of asphyxiation. And the wind did so accordingly, ultimately giving him the much needed time to claim her mouth more leisurely. He had never tasted this kind of sweet nectar before. The longing about it... the yearning for more... the feeling of exploding was so tangible against her skin. Ahhh... yes. Yes. So this is what humans call, desire.... ~ S ~ Follow an exorcist priest assigned by Sancta Sedes to exorcise demons from every continent. He must obey the Holy Pope whatever the cost is due to a dark secret only him and a few bishops know about. And this time, the Holy Pope instructs him to go in the City of Soren to investigate a recent, of the many, demoniacal attacks in an orphanage house of St. Therese. Once there, he quickly discovered the reason why, but never had he expected it to come from an unlikely source: a woman, who had broke down his walls in more ways than one. "There's a new badass in town, and it's an exorcist priest." Genre: Supernatural Romance, Mystery Status: Complete All Rights Reserved 2020 JMFelic Books

The Great Gatsby is a 1925 novel by American writer F. Scott Fitzgeral

The Great Gatsby is a 1925 novel by American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set in the Jazz Age on Long Island, near New York City, the novel depicts first-person narrator Nick Carraway's interactions with mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Gatsby's obsession to reunite with his former lover, Daisy Buchanan. The novel was inspired by a youthful romance Fitzgerald had with socialite Ginevra King, and the riotous parties he attended on Long Island's North Shore in 1922. Following a move to the French Riviera, Fitzgerald completed a rough draft of the novel in 1924. He submitted it to editor Maxwell Perkins, who persuaded Fitzgerald to revise the work over the following winter. After making revisions, Fitzgerald was satisfied with the text, but remained ambivalent about the book's title and considered several alternatives. Painter Francis Cugat's cover art greatly impressed Fitzgerald, and he incorporated aspects of it into the novel. After its publication by Scribner's in April 1925, The Great Gatsby received generally favorable reviews, though some literary critics believed it did not equal Fitzgerald's previous efforts. Compared to his earlier novels, Gatsby was a commercial disappointment, selling fewer than 20,000 copies by October, and Fitzgerald's hopes of a monetary windfall from the novel were unrealized. When the author died in 1940, he believed himself to be a failure and his work forgotten. During World War II, the novel experienced an abrupt surge in popularity when the Council on Books in Wartime distributed free copies to American soldiers serving overseas. This new-found popularity launched a critical and scholarly re-examination, and the work soon became a core part of most American high school curricula and a part of American popular culture. Numerous stage and film adaptations followed in the subsequent decades. Gatsby continues to attract popular and scholarly attention. Contemporary scholars emphasize the novel's treatment of social class, inherited versus self-made wealth, gender, race, and environmentalism, and its cynical attitude towards the American Dream. One persistent item of criticism is an allegation of antisemitic stereotyping. The Great Gatsby is widely considered to be a literary masterwork and a contender for the title of the Great American Novel.

NOTHING LIKE THE SUN

In her first life, she didn’t expect much, she was an easy going Princess consort that understood she couldn’t have the prince to herself. But when the female lead breaks her head and shows up in her life, she turns a new leaf for the worse. Blood was shed by her own hands. In her eyes, no one was innocent, not even a baby or the nine generations of the female lead’s family that had nothing to do with her. So when God suddenly became blind and offered her another chance, Ha! She will kill them all before the blink. A/N. I hope this is enough, yeahhhhhh! IM SUPPER SUPER EXCITED. Also I’m a bit slow on writing I hope this will give me some more enthusiasm. Okay, I’m have the best news ever, this book will be free until I finish writing. When I’m done, I may rearrange a few chapters then lock it. So savor! OML IM SO EXXXCCCCIITTTTEEED!! Clarification: There will be romance because.... what’s the world without it. IKR ROOOMMMMAAANNCCCEEE. Because no boy is as good as a paperback boy! Except, I’m having a bit a problem with the male leads personality. I don’t want to have sharp contrasts. But- oh wait... writing this has given me an idea. Anyway, it’s like two Main leads are fighting for room in my head. 2. I doubt there will be smut scenes. Because I’m never in the mood. I mostly like seeing the cute mushy love scenes and not jingjing (those parts bore me) but in case you do find a scene then... we’ll then. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO NOTE: there are some scene people call smut that I don’t find to be so in case I write something that could be smut, please tell me. OKAY OKAY LETS READ! (If you have/written/ know a historical romance book in the male perspective and not lgbtq+ please hit me up. Also if you have/ written/ know a modern romance book with a dominant female lead and a sub male HMU) if you just want to talk, say weird shet! Anything random or stuff you think are weird or something like that (even if you want to kill someone) text me. Cool cool! See you honey! Sunshine! Cutie pie. Kiss-Muaaahh!!!
