Somehow, I don't know how for sure, though, I've been sent to the world of my favorite game, Skyrim. The longer I'm here, the more I notice that this world is real. Not simply realistic, but real. Everything I do has an effect on the world, either good or bad, especially in the case with the storylines. I love Skyrim, but I'm not going to be able to survive here, right? How do I get out? Getting out isn't even the beginning of my problems. The longer I stay here, the more I realize – things are different, and not necessarily for the better. -------------- As embarrassing as this is, this is a Skyrim fanfic. It's probably permanently in progress, as I'm mainly just using it as a drawing board to practice writing storylines for games. Writing it out is just a fun way I've got for going about it. So to begin, this is technically a skyrim fanfic. Why isn't it in the fan-fics then? Simple! It's based on a game and I don't feel that counts as a fan-fic. Second, I've read like a few skyrim stories here lately. I liked them, as a bethesda fan boy... Well, now I need to take a crack at it. I literally start a new game of skyrim every new year. Its my tradition, so I felt I had to do this. If its bad, ah well. If its good, GREAT! Overall though, I feel we need more skyrim based stories or fan-fics. Many years ago most of earth's population got infected with a mysterious infection, the "curse of the hollowed". All these poor souls developed superhuman abilities but completely lost their mind and started aimlessly destroying everything around them. To protect themselves, humans built walls around their towns and hunters, as well as royal knights were hired to get rid of the danger. But just as people started gaining hope that the pandemic will be over soon, the "divine light cult" was formed with members that believed the curse was a divine punishment and humans aren't allowed to intervene, so the members started to kill those who tried to defeat the victims of the curse. After years of struggling and many, many deaths the kingdom finally managed to get rid of most infected ones and the new cases started getting less and less, only happending occasionally. Suddenly, after more than a decade of peace strange events start to occur again. How will humanity hold up against a possible second wave of the "curse"?
