Arcane Magus
Darius Ren grew up in Violet City, a quiet town where mages were rare—but his family was the exception. His father was a forgemaster, his mother a battlemage, and his grandmother a healer. Magic was in his blood, and he spent his childhood dreaming of the day he’d awaken his soul sea and follow in their footsteps.
But when he was 10 years old, his parents vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a single gift—a sword called Arcane Fang. With no answers and no way to find them, he trained relentlessly in swordsmanship, waiting for the day he would finally awaken.
That day came six months before his 18th birthday. Overwhelmed with excitement, he imprinted three Runes—Fireball, Water Blade, and Telekinesis—the maximum his soul sea could handle. He practiced nonstop, waiting for them to fade so he could imprint something new.
Except… they never disappeared.
At first, he thought it was a blessing—a rare ability, maybe even an advantage. But then reality sank in: he was stuck with these three spells forever. No matter how strong he became, he would never be able to replace them.
With no way to change his fate, he did the only thing he could—move forward. After registering as a battlemage, his grandmother passed away, leaving him alone in the world. A few months later, he was assigned to Squad 8 in Emerald City as a Ranger.
Now, in the largest city in Lucia Kingdom, Darius has three simple goals:
1. Expand his Rune capacity—if he can’t change spells, he needs more slots.
2. Find out what happened to his parents—even after eight years, he refuses to give up.
3. Get stronger—not just in magic, but in skill, like the family he admired.
He’s not the strongest. He’s not the chosen one. But with only three spells and a sword, he’s determined to make it work.
"I think I can do this. Probably. Maybe… First, I should stop talking to myself. I sound like an idiot. but who cares! No one is going to hear my thoughts."
Fun Fact: There is a main character, who has ability to read peoples mind.
