Desire of the demon
What would happen if a demon was given another chance at life?
He could pursue what he once longed for, the dreams that slipped away in his previous existence. He could tread carefully, avoiding the pitfalls that had led to his downfall. He could live with purpose, embracing each moment fully, free from the weight of regret.
But was his rebirth truly so simple?
The one who orchestrated his return must have had their own reasons. Their intentions were veiled in shadow, their motives unknown. Was this a benevolent act, or a cunning trap? Could the demon truly fulfill his desires this time, or would he fail once more, doomed to repeat his mistakes?
And what of the one who held the strings? Would the demon escape their grasp, carving his own destiny, or would he remain ensnared, bound to their will like a puppet on a stage?
His second chance was no gift—it was a gamble, a test of will and strength. The path ahead was fraught with challenges, each step heavier than the last. Would he break free and claim the life he craved, or would he fall again, a slave to forces beyond his control?
The answers lay in the choices he would make. And this time, he vowed, he would choose wisely—or die trying.
