Lidien Blōdmire: Path of Blood
In a night shrouded in darkness and chaos, a child witnesses the brutal murder of his father at the hands of a savage raider. Amidst the anguished cries of his tribe and the horrific scene unfolding around him, the child, filled with regret and a desperate desire to survive, confronts his father's killer using the weapon of vengeance. As he grapples with the overwhelming loss, he recalls his father's final words: "Live."
Faced with a world rife with violence, degradation, and despair, the child resolves to forsake his name and embrace a darker path if it means survival.
Commencing an unknown ritual he learned from some ancient scriptures, the child inadvertantly summons the God of Death, who appears amid a river of blood, offering the child with a twisted bargain: in exchange for his own life, the child must trade a soul of someone with his blood or died by his own hand.
As the child succumbs to his newfound fate, he becomes a vessel for the God of Death’s ambitions. He awakens as a changed being, burdened by the weight of his choices and the realization that his path may lead to a future stained in blood. With the God of Death's mocking promise—“Let this world dye with Crimson”—the child, now without a name, sets off on a perilous journey to navigate the tumultuous landscape of his existence, where he must confront the nature of vengeance, survival, and what it truly means to live.
