Also before the whole Awakening and shii, Mc is stuck in what seems to be a cursed and wretched land to him. How he got there. he doesn't know. Just that he's doing everything he can to leave there. And all I can say to those reading this novel because of the whole Awakening shii ans all that is to be patient. This novel will be quote slow paced yet fast paced.
