The Prophecy of Estuary
In the mystical realm of Ather, an island, Estuary; standing as the sole bastion of stability amidst a bottomless ocean that swallows islands whole, a sinister force known as the Umbral Hand seeks to plunge the land into chaos. By manipulating the island's divination magic, they concocted a twisted prophecy, foretelling the arrival of four "chosen heroes" destined to avert an impending war between the island's humanoids and giants.
Unbeknownst to the unsuspecting adventurers—Thalia Swiftwind, Drog Stonecrusher, Seraphina Emberheart, and Alaric Stormcaller—these prophecies were carefully distorted to lead them into unwittingly advancing the Umbral Hand's nefarious agenda.
As the party embarks on quests guided by the corrupted visions, Divided Guidance plays its part. The Umbral Hand orchestrates a series of seemingly benevolent missions that, in truth, deepen the rift between the factions. The adventurers, believing they are agents of peace, find themselves entangled in a web of deceit.
The looming fear of Estuary's impermanence hangs ominously. The island itself is a testament to the transience of stability, surrounded by an ever-changing sea that devours islands without a trace.
