Reborn As A Villainous Cannon Fodder

I died as a hardcore gamer, only to open my eyes in a cultivation fantasy I once played. Not as the hero. Not even as a helpful mentor. or a big villian... But as the cannon fodder destined to die before the first act even concludes. I recognize this world instantly—the sprawling mansions of nobility, the immortal sects hidden in misty mountains, the power hierarchy where cultivators stand above common folk. I've played through this story dozens of times, defeated every hidden boss, unlocked every secret ending. And now I'm trapped inside it, wearing the skin of the game's first villain. My position? The worthless young master of a prestigious family, universally despised yet secretly possessing a dormant bloodline that nobody in-game ever discovered because this character dies too quickly. But something is wrong. Characters are behaving differently than they did in the game. Events are unfolding in unexpected ways. The cold beauty who should immediately despise me seems strangely interested in my skills. The vixen villianess who orchestrated my demise now studies me with curiosity. Is my presence changing the storyline? Or was there always more to this world than what players could see through their screens? With each deviation from the script I memorized, my meta-knowledge becomes less reliable. Yet it remains my greatest weapon as I navigate political intrigue, forge unlikely alliances, and desperately work to awaken powers that were never meant to be unlocked by a character designed only to die. I refuse to be expendable. I reject the role assigned to me. In a world where destiny is supposedly predetermined, I will rewrite the algorithm itself—or break the entire system trying.

Reborn with a Necromancer System

-~-WSA 2025 ENTRY-~- Kai Tensen’s life ends in a freak accident, only for him to wake up as a newborn in a completely different world filled with magic, danger, and a “System” providing him with information and secrets of the world. But his second chance at life takes a deadly turn when he discovers the truth: he’s the first necromancer in over 500 years, and the world will do anything to see him destroyed. Hunted by the fanatical Inquisition, Kai must outwit bounty hunters, corrupt mages, and even gods themselves to survive. As Kai’s strength grows, so does the danger. Each step into his newfound powers tests his humanity, forcing him to confront questions of loyalty, betrayal, and the cost of his ambition. But with whispers of a divine conspiracy and ancient relics that could shatter the gods’ control, Kai realizes his fight isn’t just for survival. It’s for revolution. In a world that brands him a monster, Kai vows to outlive his supressors. If they want a villain, he’ll give them one. The gods called him a curse and the church called him evil, but he’ll prove he’s their reckoning. Death is only the beginning. Author's Notes: As you may know, I'm also the author of Fractured Horizon, a slightly futuristic fantasy/sci-fi novel about mutated human monsters and psychics that battle them. I also wrote My Undeath, a reincarnation novel set in a fantasy world. It wasn't my best work, but I loved writing the story. I put a lot more time and effort into Reborn with a Necromancer System, and ironed out the details for a while, plotting approximately 500 chapters for all of you, but this novel could likely reach 1-2k chapters. If you liked either of my other two novels, this novel has a lot more planned for it than the other two. ----------------------------------------------------- Schedule: 10-20 chapters per week Chapter Length 1,000-2,000 words ----------------------------------------------------- Disclaimers: 1. This world is not like Earth. Applying common sense to some basic principles is pointless. 2. There are not any planned harems, but perhaps multiple love interests. 3. Although the main character has a necromancer system, we don't go straight into that. There's a bit of a slow burn, a learning curve for Kai, and he is just a baby when he starts, so give it some time to build up to it. He's not just going to be raising armies of undead while less than a year old. ----------------------------------------------------- Inspiration: D&D is a huge inspiration for this. And I have played as a necromancer-like character in dozens of games, read several books that had necromancers as either the main character, or the antagonist. Death has always been something that has interested me when it comes to my fiction, so I am hoping to share that with all of you. ----------------------------------------------------- Support the Author: Please use coins/stones/golden tickets, or review my novel!

Reborn As An Extra In My Own Novel

~REMON~WSA~2025~ I Was Just an Author… Until I Became the Character I Pity Most. I’m Cha Jin-sung, your friendly neighborhood writer... Well I used to be… until I died in the most cliché way possible: collapsing at my desk after clicking a shady email from a “fan.” Next thing I knew, I had woken up inside my cancelled novel—as an extra, no less: Kaiser Vanguard, a useless character I had only created out of pity. But unlike other poor souls who get thrown into fantasy worlds, I’ve got an edge: I know the plot and the players. The only thing I need to do is stay far, far away from the plot—not even daring to breathe the same air as the protagonist. Yeah, right!! To hell with that background character BS! Screw fate and the plot too. This is my damn story, why would I remain a side character? Still, I don't want much or even need much. Only gaining godlike powers, becoming OP, finding a wife in a world filled with countless baddies, protecting my friends and my clingy battle-crazed MC, and maybe, just maybe getting laid. Sure, my first two week might be hellish. But after that? I’ll fight, flirt, break the script, and forge my own ending, in a deadly and competitive academy. But even in a calm, dungeon-filled noble society, there is still darkness lurking in the shadows, and secrets yet to be told... Even the memories of my previous life have begun to fail me. Still, this is my life and story as the smart, handsome, overpowered protagonist: Kaiser Vanguard.

Reborn As A Ring

On the border of a kingdom named Caradel in a deep and great forest a man could be seen running, being chased by a group of men wearing armor as arrows flew in the air. One striking true to its target striking the man in the shoulder nevertheless the man continued running. The man named Baranor, a young man who had orange eyes black hair and tanned skin with a slight scruffy beard was running for his life while thinking to himself. 'How did this happen?!' Baranor running out of air feeling exhausted, and the blood flowing from his shoulder running down his back mixing with his sweat, Baranor stared in front of him only to see a drop off nearly 100 meters in front of him. The men behind him also seemed to notice that Baranor was running out of time, as nearly every single one of them let out a grin, as they approached the edge Baranor slowed to a halt, as did the men behind him. "Give up prince! Just accept what's to come, after all the throne is no longer yours to inherit!" Said the man leading the soldiers "I will never! Not after what you did to my men, not after what he did to my father!" Baranor replied "Hmph! So be it, I offer you life just for you to accept death" The man stated "Life? Life! you offer me death now or later, do you really think i'd be stupid enough to hand over the throne after witnessing your coupe against my father!" Baranor replied "Hmm, it seems your unwilling even till the end, Very well, Archer's! Fire!" The man commanded Baranor was now stuck between a rock and a hard place either jump off the cliff to a seemingly doomed fate or accept the fate that the man in front of him was offering. As he thought what he should do he heard the command the man spouted feeling the stress of the situation and his adrenalin nearly running out he decided. He'd rather die by his own hands than give the man in front of him that satisfaction! As he thought this he immediately took a step back falling to his doom. The man not expecting this looked rather confused only for his face to twist into a grin. 'Finally! Good riddance my dear prince!' The man said as he looked as the boy fell through the tough branches of the trees below Baranor looking up at one of the men that betrayed him thought to himself 'Is this how i really die? Well what can i say, i tried, i gave it my all.......' As Baranor was accepting his fate he thought back on his life only to be filled with rage 'No! I refuse to accept this laying down! Quintin I will come for you! I will come for all those who dare raise their sword to their king! No matter what! even if i have to accept a deal from the devi-' that was the last thought Baranor had before he hit the ground When Baranor hit the ground he didn't even feel the pain, just the shock, as it traveled through his body as his eyes slowly blurred he built up all his will to not pass out 'I refuse! I have to keep moving!' Baranor thought as he turned his body over back up When Baranor was starting to lose hope he started to hear faint whispers as he looked at the direction the whispers came he saw a cave, almost as if the whispers were drawing him in he forced himself to crawl and keep crawling, no matter what Baranor refused to stop crawling. Finally when Baranor arrived to where he heard the faint whispers they became louder almost screaming in his head as he saw it, a ring, resting on what looked to be an ancient place holder for it. Baranor grabbed the ring and lay on his back as he gathered his strength and said "My Fate! Is my own!" As he slid the ring on his finger. -------------------- -Author here Just a quick disclaimer! This novel is heavily inspired by lord of the rings if you couldn't tell also it's because i only ever saw one other story on a ring.
