Following the 3rd lyric book release of "Happily Ever After" released in 2022, Dancing Alone in The Dark" is a part of a 2 ACT series, official follow up and 4th (4-5th) lyric book projects by singer/songwriter, Darius Clayton. That’s what everyone says, but light and darkness are two very contrasting entities. Annabelle is the perfect definition of pure and innocent, while on the other hand, Kione is the opposite of that—dark and a devil with an angelic appearance. Too forbidden to be a perfect match.

However this book is going to get filled with poetries, about eveything. It's attached with every feeling. It's written for everyone. Either if it's painful or exciting, it's going to leave it's spark everywhere. The world may end but these poetries don't know it's ending. That is why I decided to keep them all together, in a safe place. I wanted to create a kingdom for their beauties. So that they can never be forgetten. And I named this kingdom "A Kingdom Of Poetries".

TL;DR: Not Shakespeare, not complex, but fun and easy to read. Come support! As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read. To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science! To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense. Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this. The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is. It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.

He didn't know what happened after that... --- [Somewhere in a different time]--- 'Where am I?' he asked as he tries to move his head and eyes uncoordinated, there were noticeable things to hint where he was currently at; the church was styled like it was described from a dark fantasy book, the sky was clear with a few clouds roaming in the sky as the light of dawn hits them, and his parent who looked like a literal angel, '....they seemed to be speaking..." "....to think my offspring looked... Normal, even though you're mother is a human and I, Michael... am an angel... So shouldn't you be a €i@n¥?" The angel asked the infant, only to be replied with cooing, "Oh... Who am I kidding? There are difficulties, ups and downs, bumps and humps.  Like most of the love stories, Mo Yichan and Yang Ning’s love story wasn’t smooth or easy.
