How to survive as a villain

Ren Jiang, an introverted architect, died. He found himself transmigrating into a psychotic villain of the novel he read. Thinking about gaining new martial powers, he excitedly stepped out of the door. He did not get the powers but ended up face to face with a childhood friend who was obsessed with the original body. Ren, "..." Trying to get rid of the obsessed friend he found himself entangled in life and death situation with none other than the male lead. Ren, "... Please, leave me alone!" With the help of his system, Ren, now, Dorion, tried warding off the evil people and correcting original's evil ways. He finally achieved a peaceful life.... Not really. Even, when he carefully avoided any troublesome interactions with the main leads, he still, ended up catching the eye of the male supporting character. A person who appeared at the end of the novel, just to torture the original Dorion. Even when the original owner begged for death, he was cured to be tortured again. Ren, "..." Looking at the tall figure coming towards him, Ren sneakily tried to wiggle his way out, "I'll l-leave right now. I-I didn't m-mean to come here…” Kade Death laughed, his wine-red eyes gleamed with amusement. He easily trapped the beautiful person in his arms, "You didn't actually think that I would let you go, right? The scared Ren, "..." I did, But I dare not say! "I let you go once, my sweet, not anymore..." Ren, "...System, H-Help!" System, "Why don't you help me?!!!! Save me from the claws of this nine-tailed fox!!!!" ---------------------------------------------------------- This was my first novel. And I realized that... To some readers it came off as a bit erratic at some points. Is it hilarious? Yes, absolutely. Is the story different than other transmigrations? Yes. Is it hard to grasp? Maybe, for some readers. I have learned so much after writing this. So, I am glad that I did. I may or may not edit it in future for better readability. If you are reading this, I am glad that you did. If you find it erratic... you can check out my other novel (◔‿◔). .............................................................

Seed of the Shattered

A World Torn Asunder. A Town Stranded. A Destiny Unfolding. The Pactlands—a continent bound by fragile alliances and governed by the High Magus Council—teeter on the brink of war. Nalya Ruus, a newly commissioned captain in Halen’s military, seeks to prove her worth in a kingdom where ambition is as dangerous as open conflict. When Vectoran raiders descend on Freeman villages in the Disputed Lands, Nalya petitions her king for a secret mission: to intervene against the empire’s encroachment and demonstrate Halen’s strength. But the expedition takes an unexpected turn when a violent, violet light fractures the heavens, shaking the very foundation of her world. Across the rift, the quiet coastal town of Ladysmith, British Columbia, vanishes from Earth in a single moment, reappearing in the Disputed Lands. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, the townspeople must grapple with the terrifying reality of their displacement. Without access to modern resources, Ladysmith is thrust into a desperate struggle for survival amidst medieval politics, strange magic, and the constant threat of war. Nalya’s path converges with three unlikely companions from Ladysmith: Ryan, a sharp-minded university student; Terra, a young woman haunted by visions of a future not yet written; and Cale, a local officer seeking clarity amidst chaos. Together, they travel to Halen, where Nalya hopes to secure aid for the displaced town and counter Vectoran aggression in the Disputed Lands. But the growing tensions threaten to ignite a conflict that could engulf the Pactlands in flames—and Ladysmith may hold the key to a dangerous, unforeseen future. As alliances form and betrayals unfold, two worlds must grapple with their entwined destinies. In this first installment of the Riftbourne Legacy, cultures collide, powers awaken, and the fragile threads of existence begin to unravel. Bound by a shared struggle, both Ladysmith and the Pactlands must face forces far beyond their understanding—or risk annihilation in the face of unrelenting change.
