DARK HEX : INCOGNITO
I’m Daniel Hex, a 16-year-old from Shanzen Village in the Azure Kingdom—a small, quiet place surrounded by mountains. But my life has never been quiet.
People here avoid me. They whisper about me behind closed doors, call me cursed, and treat me like an outsider. Even the farmer who raised me after I was orphaned always warned me to fear the night. He’d say, “Monsters come out when the moon is high. Stay inside. Never wander.” I listened, but the warnings didn’t stop the strange things from happening.
Sometimes, I wake up deep in the forest, with no memory of how I got there. My dreams are haunted by a world different from ours—a place darker, more dangerous, where shadows move and whisper. I’ve been there once before, when I was a child. I don’t remember much, but I know one thing: that place is real.
They call it the Hex World, a realm of myth and legend, hidden from the weak and unreachable for most. But for some reason, it calls to me. It’s as if I don’t belong here in this world, but there, in its endless darkness.
I can’t ignore it anymore. I have to uncover the truth about the Hex World and why it’s tied to me. What are these memories? Why do people fear me? And why does the darkness always find me, no matter where I go?
The answers lie beyond the veil of reality. But finding them might cost me everything—even my humanity.
