Under the Demon's Onyx Shadow: Why Are Demon Lords Obsessed With Me?

Update: Mon, Wed, and Fri [Very Mature and Explicit Content] Amongst the battlefield of death and destruction, a lone warrior, her body ravaged by bone charring burns. Spirits of the recently dead drifted aimlessly, and hungry Burburus devoured both souls and body, sparing only the living and strong-willed. Yet, she found herself fixated on the Demon Lord, Ose, and the fact she is convinced he is in love with her. ... A vile smell rose from the brimstone red of blood and entrails that spilled from allies, foes, and those that were supposed to be protected. Hundreds of bodies blanketed the landscape of debris that was once a great city, wails and cries of the dying were heard over the strong winds, their hands wet as they tried to hold their own life in their wounds. If only she had more training to assist with their injuries, in the knighthood she was groomed for solely combat. The spirits of the recently dead roamed aimlessly, not yet aware they were dead and that they would meet true nonexistence if they were not to seek shelter from the real horror to come. A sense in Yin energy was coming from the vast distance, but she was distracted by the smell and sight of a battle that was truly ungodly; fitting for battles between there armies led by Demons. Above, she could see the sunlight having its own battle with thick clouds that were a profane-black with only a little light caressing her skin, deep as rich earth. The lack of sunlight only made her colder, and fortunately for her more impassive to her surroundings, or that could also be because of the fact that a large part of her body weren't charred until her bones were blackened. Her skin was covered in the soot of the nerves and flesh of her right arm, shoulder, and parts of her torso that were completely disintegrated. "Dammit, Ose," she thought bitterly, her frustration boiling within with each sharp breathe in her chest. "If it wasn't for your ridiculous obsession with me, I wouldn't be here--suffering in hell and then some." Ever since he first laid his eyes on her, she was convinced the Demon Lord had secretly fallen in love with her. The threaded sigil of his eyes that seemed to hold the magic of the aurora lights remained visible on the back of her uniform, though her body was barely there. In the name of her tormentor, the 'Great' Demon Lord Ose, she walked towards the edge of the battlefield.

The Mage’s Path of Dreams

Gods symbolized concepts.  Mortals prayed to Gods for the power they symbolized.  The more believers a God had, the longer they lived.  The blessed of the gods, the pope and the priests similarly received a boon in lifespan along with the powers they obtain. It was a win-win relationship. Except the Witch of Eternity, who symbolized Eternity, Immortality, Infinity.  The only everlasting existence of the universe. She had no need for believers. So when she raised the Tower of Transcendence which promised a completely new power system based on Sigils, the Gods were enraged. The Gods and the various churches couldn’t sit still as the mortals they ruled over now had no restriction to obtain extraordinary power and could threaten their endless lifespan. The Witch of Eternity fought countless Gods, fracturing the Nine Heavens before she was finally sealed. But the Tower of Transcendence had already taken root in the existence of the broken Nine Heavens; they couldn’t stop mortals from obtaining boundless powers now. Little did they know that the Witch of Eternity had adopted a child. What she left for the universe wasn’t only the Tower of Transcendence but also a gift for the child.  Watch as the child walks the path of Dreams to exact revenge upon the Gods and the churches alongside the allies he’ll form while climbing the Tower. The Tower Climbers vs The Churches Lorentz Volhard Von Hell vs The Gods With the Witch of Eternity sealed, The Tower of Transcendence only had limited time before the gods would destroy it. It was a race against time. Could the Wizard of Dreams climb fast enough to confront the Gods? Or would he be buried underneath the rubbles of the broken Tower?

The Lone Descent

“I am the end.” ________________________________ "S, why can't you teach me like a regular person? I need a teacher, I can't keep depending on Gilgamesh. I don't have a specific weapon either, and I need to fight." Adam stared at his hands, almost laughing at the sight. 'His hands' were mechanical now, filled with nuts and bolts. [YOUR INTELLIGENCE IS TOO LOW] That was an insult, but Adam didn't take it to heart. His intelligence was lower than most, and he needed to raise it, and fast. "Tell me, how do I raise my intelligence? I need something, anything," Adam pleaded. S took on humanoid form, but it wasn't a form he recognized. It was the form of an old man with a walking cane, and a back bent almost halfway. "How does this help me?" Adam asked, brimming with barely concealed rage. He couldn't let the others get ahead of him. He needed to contribute too. "Patience, you lack it. You fight with a vengeance, instead of fighting with a purpose. What do you want to protect? And why?" "Myself and The Renegades," Adam answered, shocked at how easily the answer came to him. "A barely passable answer, but I'll take it for now. Protect yourself for ten minutes, and I'll consider teaching you," S said and Adam swallowed. "Protect myself from what?" He asked. S had a weird sense of humor and he was starting to realize. [SIMULATING: A WILD BEAR] ________________________________ In a far-off future in an alternate timeline, there was a world called Lumos. In this world, magic was as common as breathing. And the more powerful ones had a system called Sigils. But something changed in the year 2500. Magic finally had a rival: Technology. Things were meant to be better for the citizens of Lumos. However, some humans who lived in that world weren’t so lucky. Adam Wayfarer was one of those people. Without a thing to show for his years on Lumos, he lived in the most rundown part of the city—where dreams die. No parents, no relatives, no money. Adam Wayfarer took a shady deal to make a little bit more money. What happens when the deal goes wrong, and Adam is left to die, abandoned in a world he doesn’t recognize? Will he survive, or give up finally? In a world where magic clashes with technology, the world upturns itself. State against state, country against country, continent against continent. The corruption seeps into the fabric of the world, dyeing it red. Even the gods are not left out. Who’s left standing at the end? ____________ Here’s my discord: https://discord.gg/gvPWA7Yx
