Big Guns: Check! Sexy Armored Battleships: Check! Blood and Gore: Check! The world of Stormgail has been plunged into a world of strife. The magically superior, the magickas, has launched a war of extermination against the magically inferior. Despite being outclassed in every way, the inferiors have launched a bloody campaign of guerilla warfare. Armed with only cold weapons such as pikes, swords, and spears, they fought hard. Yet, no matter how hard they fought, being inferior in every way, losses mounted to extreme numbers until they could no longer hold out on the main continents. Now, a single civilization is left. Although consisting of many nations, it has united under a collective government, one that was built upon some faraway islands. Thankfully, being an island civilization, they invested heavily into warships, so they had man-o-wars, sloops, and frigates; they may be able to hold out, but for how long? With dwindling resources such as rations, the massive influx of refugees, and trade halted, the question of their survival becomes more pressing. But a fleet of unknown origin appeared on the horizon, bearing a flag of unknown origin. With them, they brought ideas and weapons that could end civilizations and one that could foster a new one. Whichever they decide to side with will affect not only the course of the war but also the fate of Stormgail!
