An Extra’s Tale

"Compassion. Tell me, what is compassion? Is it a virtue? Or a weakness? A sign of naivety, or wisdom? Or is it one of those ideals that treads the line of ruin and preservation, an unfathomable ideal who's understanding surpasses the mortal mind; only being truly understood by the gods. Mortals struggle with it, wielding compassion like a sword from which they use by holding its blade not handle..." Growing up Reshi never lived a good life. His life had either been bad or worse, or sometimes just bad waiting to happen. Then it ended. First his family died, then he was killed. Then he got slapped by a deity, and wacked into the world of his new favourite novel. Here perhaps you maybe thinking he was living a life of riches. Was he the main character? Was he living a life of riches and joy? Was he gifted cheats and powers beyond belief? Was he a cool extra, loved by others and leading a simple life, only being unfortunately dragged into the plotline due to his outstanding morality, which he constantly denied having. Well, partially. He definitely wasn't loved. Not when he transmigrated into the body of Arthur Gravewalker. The Son of the Duke on the modern world of Pandora where humans settled after leaving Earth hundreds of years ago. He was a minor antagonist, not even one that appeared in the main story, with at least a couple of chapters outlining his villainous ways! Or even a small montage of the protagonist struggling against him before something like the power of friendship defeated him. No, he was some antagonist used to spice up the past of one of the main cast during a flashback scene in the book. Did he have time to change what the old Arthur had done, saving himself and the main cast some serious trauma? No. He was transmigrated right in the middle of being punished for his crime. Where, he’d exit the book, to live a life of eternal misery in repentance and give the readers some definite satisfaction. So peace was a thing Reshi wouldn't find even in this life. No, he'd have to work for it. Fight for it, give everything he had to suffer and claw to strength. He’d have to kill for it, so that one day. Far, far away. For the first time in both lives, he might actually get to live in peace.

Finding love in the shadows

Anterors a cupid, brimming with youthful enthusiasm, dreams of ruling over the realm of love alongside his father, the esteemed Cupid King Amor. However, his attempts to inspire love with his bow and arrow are met with unexpected resistance. His arrows seem to lose their magic, falling harmlessly to the ground. Despondent, Anterors confronts his father, who reveals a crucial truth: true power in the realm of love lies not in forced affection, but in genuine healing. To prove his worth, Cupid must mend the broken heart of Anna, a young woman whose life was irrevocably altered by the sudden and tragic loss of her parents in a car accident. Anna, grappling with the profound grief and trauma of the accident, has built impenetrable walls around her heart. Haunted by the memory of her parents, she struggles with intense grief, fear, and a deep-seated distrust of the world. She has sworn off love, believing it to be a cruel illusion, and has become cynical and withdrawn. Anterors, initially hesitant, embarks on a challenging journey to reach Anna. He must navigate the complexities of human emotions, understand the depth of Anna's pain, and ultimately earn her trust. He must learn to recognize the subtle signs of her trauma – the flashbacks, the anxiety, the emotional numbness – and offer support and comfort without intruding on her grief. Along the way, Anterors discovers that true love is not about grand gestures or fleeting infatuations. It's about empathy, understanding, and the courage to face vulnerability. He learns to listen to Anna's story, to validate her feelings, and to offer genuine comfort and support. Slowly, Anna begins to open her heart to Cupid, not as a symbol of love, but as a compassionate friend. As their bond deepens, Anterors realizes that true healing comes from within, and his role is to simply guide and support Anna on her journey of self-discovery and recovery. Through his experiences with Anna, Anterors discovers the true meaning of love – not as a force to be wielded, but as a powerful force for healing and growth. He learns that genuine love requires patience, understanding, and the courage to be vulnerable himself. In the end, Anna's heart begins to mend, not because of Anterors magical arrows, but because of the genuine connection they have forged. Cupid, having learned the true essence of his powers, proves himself worthy of the throne, not as a king of forced affections, but as a king of hearts, a true Heartmender.

I may do flashbacks or even write a prequel after this novel is finished depicting his long, long journey just to get to the beginning of this novel. Be Warned! There will be several triggering topics addressed in this novel, though it is not a dark romance it does touch on abuse: neglect, mental, verbal, physical and sexual. This is a Boy Love, LGBT or gay romance novel that will have explicit scenes. I will not be putting warnings up as I go along. I am working through some of my own trauma through writing this novel, so I understand it is not for everyone. That said this is very loosely based off some of my own experiences and any coincidences between names, places or events is just that a coincidence and have nothing in common unless I state other wise and will credit it if I do as well. Cover art was made by me using A.I. image generator and editing it myself. I hold all rights to this novel.

THE DANDY EMPRESS AND THE SICKLY EMPEROR;I don’t want to be an Empress

This is the story of Lin Xue, a dandy young woman who values beauty and wealth above all else. At fifteen, she unexpectedly meets her soulmate. Instead of excitement, she feels only frustration. "I thought I’d meet him at twenty," she grumbled. "My lady, you can meet your soulmate at fifteen or older," her maid replied. "Fifteen is too early! I hope he doesn’t propose. I’ll just tell him to wait until I’m twenty—I want to enjoy my life first." Years Later… "You… You’re the Emperor?" Lin Xue’s mind reeled as she recalled her past words—words she had spoken so carelessly. [Flashback] "I heard the Emperor is handsome. Hah! I’ll call him ‘Handsome Without a Brain.’ He’s too young to rule a nation! He should be enjoying his youth instead. What a fool! If I were Emperor or Empress, I’d abolish that ridiculous law about marrying at fifteen!" Lin Xue scoffed. [End Flashback] She turned pale. I badmouthed the Emperor… in front of the Emperor. I’m dead. The Emperor leaned back, amused. "Miss Lin, do you remember your words? Let me refresh your memory—‘Handsome Without a Brain. He should enjoy his youth instead of ruling a country.’" He smirked. "Well, Miss Lin, since you’re so concerned about my lonely youth, why don’t you join me? After all, you are my destined Empress. Waiting until you’re twenty is too long. We’re getting married now." Lin Xue’s jaw dropped. "I refuse!" "Oh? Do you want to die early? Because I don’t mind being a widower," he teased, his smirk deepening. Lin Xue huffed. "You’re sickly. A sickly Emperor!" The Emperor chuckled. "Then wouldn’t it be poetic if I died in your arms?" "Shameless!" Lin Xue fumed. Her maid whispered to her, "Miss, if you marry him, you won’t have to worry about money ever again." Lin Xue perked up. "Really? …Fine! I’ll marry you!" But their story is far from a fairy tale… War. Plague. Revenge. Robbery. Assassins. Treason. Fragments of Me

Here's a detailed synopsis for "Fragments of Me" that highlights the key plot points, character arcs, and the mystery/thriller elements while maintaining the emotional core of the romance. --- Title: Fragments of Me Genre: High School Romance with Mystery/Thriller Elements Word Count: 90,000 Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Elena Aster wakes up in a hospital bed with no memory of who she is. The only fragments she clings to are fleeting images of a burning car, a woman’s terrified voice screaming, “Run, Elena,” and the lingering sense that something is terribly wrong. After a tragic car accident that claimed her parents' lives, Elena is taken in by her uncle, Damian Aster, a charismatic and influential businessman whose seemingly perfect family hides cracks beneath the surface. Damian’s wife is distant, her cousin Nate treats her with hostility, and only her other cousin, Lucas, offers a friendly face in an unfamiliar world. Starting over at Bellrose High, Elena struggles to fit in, haunted by fragmented flashbacks and the gnawing suspicion that her accident wasn’t just an accident. When she crosses paths with the rebellious and sharp-tongued Jaxon Rivers in an unconventional encounter, sparks fly—but not the romantic kind. Jaxon, a scholarship student from the wrong side of town, has his own reasons for distrusting the wealthy elite. His father, once an accountant at Aster PLC Ltd., mysteriously disappeared while investigating financial misconduct tied to the Aster family. Jaxon believes Damian holds the key to his father’s fate, but he can’t prove it—yet. Their worlds collide when Elena witnesses Jaxon in a brutal fight at school. Despite her initial disdain for him, she finds herself drawn into his dangerous orbit after saving his life. As Elena’s flashbacks grow more vivid, she and Jaxon form an uneasy alliance to uncover the truth behind her parents’ deaths, her lost memories, and the dark secrets entwining their families. Digging deeper, they discover Damian’s double life as the enigmatic "Orion Black," the mastermind behind an embezzlement scheme, corporate fraud, and something far darker. Evidence suggests Damian orchestrated the car accident to seize control of the Aster fortune, but his crimes go beyond greed. Jaxon’s investigation reveals that his father might still be alive—or worse, trapped in a fate more sinister than death. As Elena and Jaxon unravel the tangled web of lies, they face betrayals from those closest to them. Nate’s hostility masks deep-rooted jealousy and fear of losing his privileged status. Damian manipulates Elena’s fragile trust, gaslighting her into doubting her instincts. Even Jaxon’s motives are clouded by a thirst for revenge. Yet amidst the chaos, Elena and Jaxon’s reluctant partnership evolves into something more—a fierce, undeniable connection born from shared pain, vulnerability, and the hope of healing. With danger closing in, Elena must confront the horrifying truth: her memories were stolen, her life manipulated, and the people she thought she could trust are her greatest enemies. In a pulse-pounding climax, she faces Damian, armed not just with evidence of his crimes but with the strength she’s found within herself. The girl who woke up broken becomes the young woman who fights back. But victory comes at a cost. As secrets shatter and blood is spilled, Elena learns that love can be both her greatest weapon and her deepest wound. In the end, "Fragments of Me" isn’t just about uncovering the past—it’s about reclaiming identity, embracing vulnerability, and finding hope in the fragments left behind.

The First Climber

Eren Kain was an ordinary engineer and inventor until the day the Tower of Trials appeared. A massive, otherworldly spire reaching into the heavens, the tower beckoned humanity with promises of power, wealth, and immortality—but also death. Unlike the others, Eren was forcibly bound to the Tower. No one else could enter until he began his climb, and he couldn’t leave unless he reached the top. Stripped of magic, aura, or any supernatural ability, Eren’s only advantage is his engineering genius and the technology he can smuggle in. From basic firearms to drones and exoskeletons, he uses every tool at his disposal to survive the monsters, traps, and bizarre ecosystems within the Tower. Yet even technology has its limits in a world governed by magic. As Eren climbs, he discovers the Tower isn’t just a trial but a puzzle. Its magic isn’t arbitrary—it’s systematic, a science he slowly learns to decode. However, one wrong calculation could kill him instantly, forcing him to balance experimentation with survival. He scavenges magic crystals, artifacts, and spell books, using them in crude, improvised ways to bolster his arsenal. Over time, he begins merging technology and magic, creating unique hybrid tools to overcome the increasingly insurmountable challenges. But why was Eren chosen? What secret does the Tower hold?
