However, the humans eventually lost and had to flee. They now live in self made caves in which they created cities to live in. And now, the different cities are trying to individually become strong enough to resurface, eradicating the Monsters once and for all to claim ownership of the planet itself. This novel follows a 16 years old boy named Noboru Ogawa, trying to conquer this accursed world and defy the boundaries fate has put on him.
