The Villainess Doesn't Want to Marry the Prince
Lady Celestia de Rochefort has always been known as the "villainess" of high society, with her sharp wit, piercing gaze, and a cold heart—or so everyone believes. But, contrary to the rumors, Celestia has no interest in the twisted schemes people assume she’s plotting. In fact, she's far more interested in her library, her afternoon tea, and most importantly, not getting married to the kingdom's prince, who is as charming as he is insufferably dull.
When a royal decree announces her engagement to Prince Adrian, Celestia is horrified. She has no desire to play the part of a royal bride, let alone to someone she’s sure will drive her insane with his polite smiles and royal manners. Determined to escape her fate, Celestia enlists the help of her mischievous best friend, Hugo, who suggests a series of hilarious and increasingly outrageous schemes to break the engagement.
But things don’t go as planned: every scheme Celestia tries to escape the engagement ends up making her look more charming in Adrian’s eyes. And as he becomes more curious about this fiery, enigmatic "villainess," Celestia starts seeing sides of the prince that surprise her—and maybe, just maybe, begin to melt her icy heart.
