Future World

At the dawn of the New Era Calendar, humanity broke free from the confines of Earth and established a new order beyond the Milky Way. In this vast expanse of the stars, filled with both the unknown and hope, humanity witnessed rapid technological advancements and unprecedented expansion of its civilization. The annihilation of the insectoid race was celebrated as a historic victory, with the Earth Celestial Force securing its dominance. Meanwhile, corporate giants seized the opportunity to stretch their influence to far-off galaxies, exploiting resources and colonizing new worlds, propelling humanity into an era of unparalleled interstellar prosperity. Yet, beneath the veneer of progress lay hidden perils. Driven by greed and ambition, humanity neglected to respect the unknown. An exploratory fleet, jointly deployed by the Earth Celestial Force and corporate alliances, inadvertently ventured into a mysterious, energy-laden star system. There, they uncovered an ancient ruin, seemingly belonging to a species far older and more powerful than the insectoid race. However, the activation of this relic awakened a dormant threat buried deep in the cosmic void. The remnants of the insectoid race began to resurface, having evolved far beyond any prior records. Worse still, a new horror emerged—massive creatures known as Star Beasts. Star Beasts, colossal entities comparable in size to small planets, possess the power to obliterate fleets and consume worlds. Their behavior defies all known patterns, yet it seems to be driven by a purpose that transcends biological instinct. Their arrival disrupted the fragile balance of the universe and fractured the tenuous alliances within human civilization. Under the pressure of dwindling resources and escalating conflict, corporate factions began pursuing their own interests, while the Earth Celestial Force struggled to rally the scattered powers of humanity to resist the twin threats of the insectoids and the Star Beasts. As the war escalated, more secrets about the Star Beasts came to light. These creatures were likely not products of natural evolution but creations of an intelligence beyond human comprehension. Additionally, the resurgence of the insectoids revealed a shocking truth: they were never humanity’s ultimate enemy but merely pawns in a far greater cosmic game. Faced with the dual crises of internal division and external invasion, humanity must find a way to strike a balance. Will they persist in their path of expansion and conquest, or will they choose to coexist with the unknown? The answer lies in a final, decisive battle that will determine the survival of their civilization.

Waking World

People have seen and read many different kinds of apocalypses. A tower rose from the ground bearing gifts of power and an endless tide of demons. A rift was torn in space unleashing a horde of monsters unto the world. An alien mothership blotting out the sun as it rained down an entire civilisation's worth of advanced technology. A little game by supreme beings who want nothing more than entertainment through the deaths and suffering of the world. Even the awakening of forbidden ancient horrors from deep under the surface of the world that should have never existed. We have all seen how these things go. Countless people die before they even get the chance to fight back. Most of the time, the world is caught unaware and is brought to the brink of oblivion before a hero finally rises up to save them all. Well, it seems the world has had enough. Rather than waiting for another apocalypse, Earth had chosen to take action... literally. Better yet, the Universe had recognised its resolve and gave it an equal opportunity to fight for survival, i.e. a system of its own. "These pathetic humans can't do anything right. Fine, I'll do it myself." ~~~~~~~ Disclaimer: The story will be using a bit of science to explain some things, but most will be fantasy and made-up science since I am most definitely not a physicist nor am I well-verse in science. So if you read something here that doesn't adhere to actual scientific and physical laws, just think of it as weird magic stuff even if it poses as science.
