The Nanji
In a world where the power of Ki is the key to survival, five villages stand as bastions of strength. Each village masters one of the primary elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Light — with warriors known as fighters who train tirelessly to become masters. However, within each village, the true challenge is more than just combat. It is about leadership, honor, and destiny.
The story's protagonist, Nanji, is a young man with a singular destiny: he bears the Capricorn Beast, one of the seven mystical beasts that represent the zodiac signs. Sealed in his right eye since birth, this beast is both a curse and a power that has made him hated by everyone. Abandoned by his own village, the Flame Village, all that remains within him is a burning determination. His goal is simple yet nearly impossible: to become the leader of the Flame Village, the Flame of Protection, and prove that his true strength lies not in the beast he carries but in his indomitable spirit.
Ceres, a devoted ally, and Susanoo, a dark warrior seeking vengeance, become his companions on a journey fraught with challenges. Together, they enroll in the Fighters’ Academy, where they face fierce competitions, new enemies, and the ghosts of their pasts.
But beyond the training and battles, a mysterious group known as Tsuki no Takara plots in the shadows, with a sinister plan to gather all seven beasts for an unknown purpose. The truth behind the beasts and the real power of Ki begins to unravel as Nanji fights to change his village’s destiny and protect what matters most.
The Flame of Protection is a story of resilience, friendship, and determination, where the bonds of camaraderie and the trials of the past intertwine with epic battles and mystical secrets that threaten to destroy everything they know. Will Nanji manage to control the fire burning within and overcome the prejudices surrounding him? Or will his path lead him to an even darker fate?
