The Way of the Shaman
It’s more than twenty years after the new millennium. Amid the rising skyscrapers, recent housing developments, public transport modernization programs, and new generation of influencers and vloggers, are constants in the Philippines’ society - the shamans.
In this alternate world, Filipino mythological creatures intermingle in peace with humans. A tiyanak is a child star. A sarimanok the mascot of a popular channel. A manananggal a sought-after model. Even diwatas and sigbins are leaders of their own party lists.
