Tales and Shadows is a collection of short stories and ruminations, most of which deal with supernatural or strange events carrying an undercurrent of horror. A recurring theme throughout the stories is the conflict of gods against man and the psychology of otherworldly beings trying to understand their place in the universe.

Something about the presence on the other end, was sure to have anyone have a double take at him. Perhaps, it was those eyes of his, or could it be how relaxing he seemed? His gaze soon shifted to the sculpture which I had crashed into, its broken pieces scattered around. For a fleet second, his eyes shadowed at the sight of the broken pieces, but in a moment, his expression had turned blank.
