Their romance would have gone all smoothly had it not been for the interference of destiny and Dracula desiring her. Just when Cain decides to actually live for once and with her, there is the threatening prophecy that says ' Through love shall the sin of murder be erased.' This also means that Cain's death which he has been searching for was activated the moment he gave his heart totally to Joilet. Now he has to find ways to escape the prophecy and be with her forever while Dracula of course would not make it easy at all. Would Cain be able to defeat even destiny and change his fate?
