Summoner of the Stars
Groggily opening his eyes, Alex rubbed the sleep from his eyelids, the sound of his own groggy voice echoing in his mind... "Wha...?'
As he slowly sat up, the memories of the previous night came flooding back. He had been camping, trying to escape the struggles of his mundane life. The peacefulness of the night sky had been his solace, and he had spent hours gazing up at the stars, lost in thought.
But then, he had seen it. A falling star, blazing across the sky like a tiny, celestial bullet. At first, he had thought it was just a meteor, a fleeting moment of beauty in the vast expanse of space. But as it drew closer, he realized with a start that it was something much, much bigger.
Whoa...!" Alex's voice was barely above a whisper, but it was laced with a mix of awe and fear. The object was enormous, its size and speed making it look like a truck plummeting towards the earth.
And then, in an instant, everything went black.
Alex's eyes fluttered open once more, and he was met with an unfamiliar sight. He was no longer on the forest floor, surrounded by the quiet of the night. Instead, he was... "Where am I?"
As his gaze adjusted to the dim light, he saw that he was inside some kind of ship. The walls were metallic, the air was stale, and the only sound was the soft hum of machinery. Alex's mind reeled as he struggled to comprehend what had just happened.
"How did I get here?" he whispered, his voice shaking with a mix of fear and wonder. "What is this place?"
