So yeah. Rose Cookies. This isn’t your usual power fantasy or deep character study. It’s just… something that came out of my brain—and maybe yours too. Keanu, the guy you’re reading about, isn’t really a person. He doesn’t have a personality, no tragic backstory, no moral compass. He’s just there. Walking, talking, smiling. And then suddenly—violence. Out of nowhere. Why? Because sometimes, life just pushes people. You keep swallowing the little stuff—awkward silences, fake laughs, getting ignored, getting talked over, being the nice one. Over and over. And then one day, something in you snaps… or at least, wants to. Not gonna lie, a lot of these scenes are born from real stories. Not the stabbings, obviously, but the feelings. Stuff I’ve gone through. Stuff people have told me. That quiet, helpless frustration when you just sit there thinking, “Why do I keep letting this happen?” And maybe, for a second, your brain throws out the worst possible solution just to see how it feels. Keanu is that. He’s not a person. He’s an impulse. He’s what happens when all that built-up patience finally tips. Some chapters will be hilarious. Some will be disturbing. Some will make zero sense. That’s intentional. Life doesn’t stick to genre rules, so neither does this. Thanks for reading. Or hate-reading. Or doomscrolling (I sincerely doubt that) your way into this mess. “Who are you? A dormant were wolf or a human?” His voice broke as he spoke. His eyes were silently pleading, anxiously waiting for the answer. Deep down, he knew it already. Yet, his stubborn heart refused to concede. The silence that followed was enough to escalate the hurt he felt in his heart from a dull throb, to burning glaring pain. The bullet wound he received a year ago hurt less than what he felt at that moment. “Here you go. It’s time to end this forever. Let’s make it fun while it lasts.” He handed her a shiny golden revolver. One look and she knew, neither could survive a shot between the eyes. There was only one bullet in the gun. Her hands shook as she tried to let go, as though it burnt at her skin. Kai didn’t let her. He won’t have any of it. This was his surrender. His eyes spoke words that his lips couldn’t. They were raw with emotions both familiar and foreign to her. Her own silver eyes filled with tears as she tried not to cry. “I choose to die by your hands. You are the only one with the right to take my life. Let’s begin!” He didn’t wait for her to process his words before helping her place the gun between his eyes, which never wavered from hers. Click! Her friends told her to get dressed as they had something to show her. After she had got dressed up, her friends and her left. They drove to a restaurant. Xiao was confused. After a while, the boys and Xiao’s friends had stopped drinking as they all had things they were doing the next day so they were slowly getting back to being sober. Xiao was also getting sober but it only took her a few sips of tea to do so. They all head back to their vehicles. Xiao was walking by Ru when she got hit. She fell into a coma and had been transported inside her book, the one she was writing a new part of. She became her main character who's on a dangerous mission while she's still in college. The time the book takes place is in ancient China.
