And, it is to be added, a man's greatest charm, is his rich earns and wit of standing out!! ***** ‘To, Miss Victoria Lancaster… My pen has sung, my writing has spoken… and I still remain a stranger! Or am I? My apologies for the wait, I stood by the riverside in Welsh lands, wondering why an imposter would impersonate my writings to you… Forgive me for calling him the word—I stand hurt, and hurt even more by this! From Prince Harry McVourse… with Love.' ***** Victoria Lancaster, fourth of the six Lancaster siblings, stands in the predicament of societal wants and her lone desire for love. Being introduced to society for the first time, and as the first daughter of her family to be introduced, she needs a successful first season. And a successful season for a lady means, securing a suitor and a husband! Concurrently, Harry McVourse, standing as Knight, seeks the same accomplishments as Victoria, but his situation is quite melodramatic! His mother, the third of King Charles' five wives—though each was married one after the other and divorced except for the last—seeks to have her two sons marry swiftly and bless her with a grandson. A grandson is not her will but a want from King Charles, demanded of his sons. This, indeed, is an all-queens' contest to see whose son shall deliver a grandson first. Knight, despite understanding the depth and urgency of the matter, knows that the partner must be his. An uncareful selection would lead to years of despair and pain! As of that matter, he depicts societal balls and celebrations as a confined showcase of hypocrisy and pretense. He needs see the eligible spinsters beyond societal confines, and that’s what leads him to stand as a night guard in the Lancasters' new London mansion. A coincidence? Therefore, with Victoria Lancaster being the definite spinster Knight becomes much engaged with, he gradually develops a desire for the girl. However, despite this desire, he is opposed by many admirers, especially his brother, Prince Edward McVourse, whose efforts cannot be overlooked, in addition to his half-brother, Prince William McVourse, a lad whose in future leaves Knight wrathful due to a certain impotent depiction. As a result, he delights in the idea of writing to Lady Lancaster every morning. An anonymous write! His intention being; to the least, stand out from the men in pursuit. However, without Knight’s knowledge, Victoria is slowly enjoying the curves and words in those writings. Each night, she dreads time to pass quickly, anticipating another writing to be brought to her. She becomes intrigued until she desires to know the man behind the writing. Additionally, her mother pressures her to stand firm on the choice of the man she is to choose—Lord Edward, Knight’s elder brother, who is said to possess two hundred thousand a year. The letters draw Victoria and Knight closer, but their budding connection faces significant challenges. Knight must navigate the rivalry with his brothers, particularly Edward and William, both competing for Victoria's hand, in addition to formally acquainting himself with the ladyship. Victoria, on the other hand, struggles to reconcile her growing feelings for the unknown writer with her mother's expectations and the societal norms of the time. What happens next? "In His Writing" is a novel set in the Victorian era, embracing themes of romance, mystery, and conflict, in addition to societal conflicts, identity, and desires. (DAILY UPDATES A WEEK.) So, stirring up her feelings once again isn't something she intends to do. "I'm sorry for hurting you..." he tried to apologise, but she cut him short. "Why? What do you want from me now? Letters to Romeo.

[Mature Content. No Rape] 'All it took was breaking one rule that she was not supposed to' He was the bad boy with tattoos. She was the good girl with glasses, and she was his. — When Julianne Winters decides to move to the dormitory of the reputed University, she has everything planned so that she can complete her graduation and leave the place. But her plan is quick to catch fire from the moment the eyes of Roman Moltenore from senior year lands on her. And his appearance screams nothing but TROUBLE. "What rules?" Julianne asked with a frown as she read through the page. She was sure she hadn't seen any rules of the campus mentioned on their website. # 4. No using cell phones. # 12. Students should not roam outside the campus after eleven in the night. The further she read, the more bizarre it turned out to be. Her friend turned the page and then pointed at the last rule # 29. Listen to Roman Moltenore. "This is made up. Look, the last one is even written in pencil." Julianne couldn't believe that her friend from the next dorm thought she would fall for it. "And no phone?" "It is important you abide by all the rules. Especially number twenty nine," said the girl in a serious tone. "Remember not to get involved with Roman. If you happened to see him, run in the other direction. There is a reason why it is written down here." With the rules of the campus, she resorts to sending handwritten letters to her uncle. But who knew it would end up in someone else’s hand!

Letters for my Mother

"Letters for my Mother" is a collection of thoughts, emotions, and socioeconomic factors that have hindered my mother and me until her passing in 2007. At that time, I was away from home, moving from place to place, bunking on my sister's house one year and moving on to the other like clockwork. It was traumatic for me since I grew up knowing that I come from a large family of twelve and now living with different people all together or sometimes coming home to find my big sister hasn't arrived from work, so it was books and TV to keep me company. Most of the time, they were trying times as distance kept my two brothers and me from bonding fully. I am glad that I found an outlet for my part where everything seems to be going and coming. What was constantly being right was I thank them fully for taking me to high school, where I found my calling. Art, for me, was a constant where everything is a variable. I never knew I was artistically gifted in all areas of art. I found myself doing drama and musical at form one barely one month into the school. Next year, I found myself in Environment and Science Congress. I had hoped initially that I would blossom to be a scientist. There was this character, Dexter's lab, where he was a boy genius living in a suburban home and having a secret lab in the basement; it was an eye-opening factor for me, and I had to exercise to the fullest. Form three and four were full of music and festival of arts; that was where I grew my art to visual, and poetry came to me as a second language. You probably have figured out that school for me was not for learning, rather for making friends and trying my foot in various forms of art. After high school and pre-youth and college year (I studied computer graphic design for three months, and I dropped out for one reason I will share in my latter works), I found my calling in theatre and performing arts. I loved being on stage, acting, and bringing characters to life with costumes and lights. Telling narratives to the audience and watching them move with awe and splendor. Some hated me from curtain raise to curtain call, booing me for being the antagonist, and applauded wildly when I played the hero. After a while, I felt sick and stagnant for doing the same thing and staging in the same theatre. I saw different cultures and people around Kenya, my country, and settled for drawing and writing poetry and books. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about my works and would write and draw sketches, and if they don't work out, I would tear them out and flush them. I know I was my worst critic, but I had my first break at 2017 under Storymoja and mentorship of Muthoni Garland, Samira Mathews, and Monity Odera. I published a children's book, "Monsters Who Disobeyed," translated to Swahili, also known as "Malipo ya Ukaidi." It was a milestone for me. I really appreciate my efforts, and three years later, I compiled this book for myself and also the whole world as a reminder that you can be yourself and be the greatest version; you just have to believe. My shortcoming is that my mother, may her soul rest in peace, would be proud of the young man I have become, being that I have never had the chance to show her how talented I am. To all the dreamers and the creatives out there, I would like to give a nugget of wisdom to all that the first step is the hardest, but you will get there eventually. After a while, I must say I am well-versed with various art forms, and I speak the language fluently. As a reader and a fan of my work, I must acknowledge that it is a pleasure giving you access to my world, and I hope to share a room in your library as a favorite.
