In The Middle Of Two Sides
Kouta Hosoi, a young man who tragically dies in an attempted robbery, awakens in a mysterious ghostly world where he discovers unique abilities. In this plane, everything is shrouded in a mystical purple aura, and his ability to transform ordinary objects into ethereal objects makes him special. With the help of Yui Takashima, another newly arrived soul, he begins to explore this strange place, where his hidden potential marks him as a prodigy with enormous power, albeit with severe physical limitations.
Training hard, his strength grows rapidly, but he soon finds himself embroiled in a greater struggle when he witnesses a fight between a guardian, Haruto Yukimura, and an infiltrating demon. After helping Haruto, Kouta learns about the three worlds: paradise, the ghostly world, and the dreaded underworld, ruled by the cruel Gares. Motivated by the possibility of changing this balance, he begins training with Haruto, mastering new techniques such as launching energy blasts and flying.
As his power grows, so do the threats. Together with Yui Takashima, his new friend, they face demons trying to break the dimensional barrier, defending their world with all their might. With each victory, his resolve strengthens, but an idea begins to form in his mind: is it possible to free the underworld from Gares's rule? With this ambitious goal in mind, he decides to share his thoughts with Yui and Haruto, little imagining the fate that awaits him...
