One moment, she's just trying to keep her head down, and the next, ghosts are literally out to kill her. Yeah, you read that right-ghosts. The kind that don't wait for midnight to mess with you. Then there's him. He's got this otherworldly vibe, like he just walked out of a cursed fairytale. His jawline? Sharp enough to cut through glass. His expression? Colder than your ex's texts. He doesn't talk much. And let's not forget his weird habit of snapping his fingers to conjure up some invisible shield. Who even does that? When their paths cross, Vera doesn't know what to think.
