Devourer System : Infinite Paths
A Galaxy Ruled by Magic, What is Better than That? A Galaxy Ruled by Magic and Chosen Individuals with unique Systems, with each system representing a different aspect of reality.
The Systems range from the simple Ascendant grade Flame Heart system, which granted simple yet strong fire-based abilities, to the pinnacle of power, the Primordial Grade System of Time, which granted dominion over the archaic force of time itself.
In such a fantasy, fate weaves its own designs, sending a figure who stood at the peak, betrayed by those he trusted as comrades, back in time.
The people who were once comrades are now just enemies, those who wish for only their own good, not caring if their actions will send the galaxy and its untold billions into ruins.
When his misery finally ended, his mind was satisfied with having delayed the eventual fate that those traitors wished to bring to the galaxy, but it seemed his work was not done.
He found himself back in his younger self, returned years back, all before he even took the first step of power, a reality that felt impossible, yet he was living the impossible.
He was given a second chance to do things right, to get revenge on those who betrayed him, and to correct the mistakes he regrets, setting right all that once went wrong.
However, What if the reincarnation does not go as it should?
What if he returns in time but is stuck with his eighteen-year-old self in his younger body?
What if he does not even have control over his physical body and needs to make a deal with his younger self to even control it?
The Old is wise, calculating, and utterly ruthless, a man driven by a single-minded purpose, to save the galaxy and satisfy his thirst for revenge.
He is willing to cross any line, manipulate any ally, and sacrifice anything or anyone that stands in the way of his ultimate goal.
The Young, on the other hand, is an innocent soul, scarred by the greed and cruelty of others. He has lost what he loved most, stripped of a life that should have been his, and forced into the shadows to survive.
These harsh circumstances have forged a single desire, to grow stronger because he understands that only with strength can he ever hope to live freely.
But the question remains, while their desires align, their personalities could not be more different, so will these two opposing natures work toward the ultimate goal, or will their differences tear them apart before they can achieve it?
