Torchwood Adrift

SCULPTURED DESIRE

Living as the fifth daughter of a noble family, Amira found herself adrift in the fog of her home, neglected and overlooked by those she once called her own. Her days were spent in the solitude of the attic, a hidden oasis away from the bustling world outside. However, when the tumult of war erupts and she is thrust into the role of a truce offering between two formidable nations, she grapples with the uncertainty of surviving in a new kingdom known for its icy demeanor and ruthless nature. Will she navigate this foreign terrain and carve out a new existence she never fathomed? (Excerpt) "Clean it," Zyran commanded. "Yes, your Highness," the servant acknowledged with a respectful bow, ready to fetch the cleaning supplies. "Not you," Zyran interjected, causing the servant to freeze in confusion. "Her," he added, nodding in the direction of Anastasia, whose eyes widened in disbelief. Anastasia blinked rapidly, trying to process the situation. "Pardon?" she asked. "Clean the mess on the floor," Zyran instructed. The crowd started murmuring and Anastasia shifted uncomfortably on her knees. "That's the servant's job, not mine. Why should I? I don't think I understand what you are trying to say Prince Zyran. My father will never approve of this," Anastasia began only to be abruptly cut off by Zyran. "Don't make me repeat myself. I'm sure you wouldn't like it if I interfered with your task," Zyran warned. Anastasia's lips trembled as she fought to hold back her words. She knew Zyran's reputation for being ruthless, and she didn't want to make her situation any worse than it already was. "Get me the cleaning supplies," she instructed the servant, who was prepared to follow her command until Zyran interjected. "No one will help you," he declared. Anastasia's chest heaved with anger as she locked eyes with Amira, who was standing behind Zyran. She rose to her knees, intending to fetch the cleaning supplies herself, but Zyran stopped her once again. "Where do you think you're going?" he demanded. "To bring the bucket," she replied with a hint of annoyance, but she quickly reminded herself to remain composed. "I never asked you to stand up," Zyran stated. "Then how am I supposed to clean the floor?" she inquired. "Use your dress," Zyran replied. The onlookers in the crowd were visibly shocked, exchanging bewildered glances and murmurs as they witnessed the unfolding scene. Anastasia's cheeks turned crimson with embarrassment.

Veins of Alcraya

With Earth on the brink of destruction, humanity launched a desperate mission to colonize a distant, habitable world. It took ten generations adrift in space before the survivors finally arrived on Alcraya, a planet that offered life, but not without mystery. Soon after settling, something unimaginable began to happen. Every newborn child manifested a strange phenomenon: within days of birth, an unknown energy would coalesce near the infant and crystallize into a card etched with glowing runes. Each card bore one of five inscriptions. Light, Dark, Summoner, Morpher, or Elemental marking the child's latent affinity for powers humanity did not yet understand. Despite their best efforts, the early settlers could not decode the origin or purpose of the cards. But one thing was clear: they held immense power. Over time, society rebuilt around this phenomenon blending magic-like forces with advanced technology far beyond anything Earth ever knew. Alcraya's civilization flourished, evolving into a hyper-techno society where card affinity shaped destiny. In the midst of this new world is Aleister, a fourteen-year-old boy from a struggling family, born with a card unlike any other. A blank one. Marked as an outcast and dismissed as powerless, Aleister faces ridicule and rejection in a society obsessed with power and classification. But the truth is far more dangerous than anyone imagines. A dormant card, waiting. And when it awakens, it will challenge the foundation of everything the people of Alcraya believe. Aleister doesn’t just hold a card. He holds the darkest morpher the world has ever seen.

Adrent Echo

There was no explosion. No fire. No second chance. Earth died in silence, swallowed by an unnatural black hole that erased history without a trace. No one screamed. No one ran. There was only the pull — and then, the void. But humanity was not ended. It was scattered. By a force unknown even to the machines it created, select individuals were plucked from extinction and dropped across a distant galaxy. Each survivor awakened alone aboard a mothership, guided by a hyper-intelligent AI and armed with a handful of randomly assigned blueprints. Some found themselves above vibrant alien worlds teeming with sentient life. Others, like Cassian Vale, awoke to lifeless silence—adrift above a shattered planet and a cold red star, with no civilization, no crew, and no voice but EVA: his AI, his companion, and perhaps his only remaining anchor to humanity. Cassian's only advantage? A single, exclusive blueprint: the A.V.A. Project — an autonomous robotic base capable of producing machines that could mine, build, and eventually fight. But everything must be earned. Every alloy, every bolt, every advance must be scraped from asteroid stone or stolen from others like him. As Cassian begins his lonely journey to forge civilization from ruin, he must battle cosmic storms, hostile remnants, resource starvation, and eventually, other survivors—humans who were given different starts, different species to command, and the choice to lead their worlds through science or sorcery, peace or war. But above them all, watching silently, is the System — an unseen architect that chose who would rise and who would fall… and which god, human or otherwise, would shape the future of the stars.

TM: Vengeance of the Indomitable and Crazed Shades

In a realm of mortals, a monster stirred into existence. At the beginning, adrift in purpose, the creature resolved to guard its progenitors and the girl who came before, he intended to defend and protect all of them... his only purpose... As times unfolded, the monster adeptly concealed itself behind the visage of a mortal, humanoid in nature, he easily donned the guise, the mask of a human being. Yet, fear not, for the tale did not conclude there. A young man's agonized wail pierced the nocturnal silence, a lament for all he lost, for all he wished to protect, challenging the heavenly realms and defying the very essence of existence. In his rebellion, the world recoiled, deeming him unworthy of breath, a rejection that ushered his drowning into oblivion. Amidst the struggle for survival, an otherworldly entity took notice. "Perhaps…? Let's test the fortitude of his will!" As the youth teetered on the brink of unconsciousness, a voice resonated in his mind. [Notice: Legendary Skill Reincarnation Acquired!] [Reincarnation has been activated!] ... In a cosmos where gods, devils, humans, myths, and dreams converge into reality, the monster finds rebirth. Yet, navigating this new existence proved arduous, for the world demanded a toll for every breath he took and every moment of joy in it. And such a toll… it will be paid with his life once more. Will the human-masked monster triumph… Or will he fall just like a hundred times before? Let me see an end to it, but now… will you join me, Mortal!? ----------------------------------- This novel is an extremely slow-burn one... The main story technically starts with Season 3. The first two seasons are something like a prologue to show what happened and who the MC is, so simply, if you want a faster experience, start with season 3; it won't be that much of a difference if you don't. Chapter Length: 1800-2200 words. The Mc is a kind of psychopath who wore a mask throughout his life, but I would not easily condemn him as neither good nor evil. (And before you ask. Yes, the MC is kind of a Yandere obsession type as well.) There will be a harem, but it will be much later or until I start liking another girl character. There is some dark and gore stuff, be it burning flesh, dissection, blood, extreme agony, or whatever else. I just want to say that if you don't like it, be prepared that they are not uncommon and are mostly detailed... A question that arose in me... When does someone become a monster? Where is the edge of humanity? I don't know the specifics either just yet, so let's find out together... And that's it. Have a nice read, my fellow humans. ;)

When revenge rules

As I turned to leave, the unthinkable happened. Her anguished voice pierced the air like a dagger, echoing in pain as tears streamed down her face like a relentless waterfall. Her words shattered my heart, forcing me to confront the monster I'd become, a reflection of the darkest corners of my soul. "How could you, Daven?" she cried, her voice trembling with emotion, each word a fragile whisper that cracked with despair. "I trusted you, I gave you everything my heart, my soul, my everything. I sacrificed my family, my wealth, my reputation... all for you, all because I believed in you. And now, I've lost everything because of you. You've taken my heart, my dignity, my sense of self-worth... You've destroyed me, leaving me a hollow shell of what I once was." As her words hung in the air, a deafening gunshot rang out, shattering the silence like a sledgehammer. The sound was like a physical blow, leaving my ears ringing and my senses reeling. My vision blurred, and my eyes rolled back in my head, as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling before me. The world around me went dark and silent, as if the gunshot had ripped away my ability to hear and see, plunging me into an abyss of nothingness. In the chaos that followed, a fleeting glimpse of light appeared before me. For a moment, I saw my mother again, her face radiant with love and warmth, her presence a gentle breeze on a summer's day. The light enveloped me, filling me with a sense of peace and longing. But it was short-lived, and the darkness closed in once more, leaving me lost and adrift in a sea of uncertainty.
