I Can Only Contract Lowest Level Pets

In a world where the bond between a Beastmaster and their creatures is the path to ultimate power. Every year the celestial phenomenon known as the Astral Veil occurs. It is a rare moment when the sun and moon align, casting their light across the land. During the Astral Veil, youths are transported to a mysterious dimension where they must endure unimaginable pressure and forge their bond with a Beastmaster Relic—an artifact that will resonate with their soul and allow them to contract with a beast. But for Yang Feng, a mere commoner born in a humble village, his life is about to change in ways he could never have imagined. When the Astral Veil descends upon the world, Feng is swept into the dimensional rift, joining other youths. In the new world, he faces crushing pressure and overwhelming forces—where even the air feels heavy, and the very ground beneath his feet seems to push against him. The Beastmaster Relics scattered throughout the dimension are said to resonate only with those truly worthy, but Feng’s humble origins make him question whether he is destined for greatness. Through sheer willpower, determination, and unyielding resolve, Feng reaches the center of the dimension—a place where the very laws of nature warp and twist. Here, he uncovers an ancient artifact—The Beastmaster’s Forbidden Codex. Yang Feng’s journey has just begun. As the forces of darkness and light move toward their inevitable clash, he will have to choose his allies wisely, confront his deepest fears, and ultimately decide whether he will become a hero of the light, a master of darkness, or something far more dangerous—a Beastmaster who defies fate itself. But to use a power of this level, what price will he pay? I changed name of the novel after chapter 3 as I thought it would be more suitable;)

The Lexicon Resonance

In the world, every book was more than just a collection of words. It was a vessel of latent energy, imbued with ancient knowledge and untapped potential, people could unlock special abilities by reading books but power depended on emotional and intellectual resonance of the person with the books he or she read. The more understanding you had about the books you read, the more stronger you get. The power could be gained after awakening a lexicon. Lexicons were leather-bound tome adorned with intricate golden filigree and strange symbols that shimmer in the light. The cover was worn, with cracks and creases etched into its surface like the lines on a wise elder's face. The lexicons were large measuring approximately 12 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The color of the leather binding was a deep, rich brown, while the pages within were soft, creamy yellow.  The first lexicon was said to have been made by an ancient order of mystics, who infused the book with their collective knowledge and power. Over the centuries, sorcerers created ritual techniques to create personal lexicons where people's knowledge gained through the books they read became their power. Slowly and steadily the personally created lexicons drew knowledge from the minds of its wielders and molded it into their power.  There were three types of lexicons; the ones that contained magical text, the ones that contained fictional text and the ones that contains non-fictional text and historic text. Among these three main types of lexicon there were rare lexicons which came with unique powers, world-altering powers. In spite of of all these books came the forbidden lexicons that were mostly not awakened but learnt. The forbidden lexicons were hated by societies and were banned from use of people. There were also limits and risks with use of awakened lexicons which was termed 'lexicon fracture'. It was experienced when people had mind breaks from wrong usage of their awakened lexicons. Our main character rises from the lowest to highest in spite of the mockery that "He was never meant to even have a Lexicon." Follow the story for more...

My Best Friend is a Hybrid

It’s the year 2073, and everything has changed. New high-tech dominates almost all aspects of life. However, this has a dark side: unethical human experiments. 17-year-old Akira Cruz, the genius nephew of the president of the Philippines, was in the middle of grieving for his late best friend when he stumbled upon an abandoned orphan boy in the mountains while on a hike with his younger sister. That boy is Hachi Shimizu, a half-zombie, half-vampire who was disposed of by an evil organization known as the Kara Tech, which was notorious for its brutal and unethical experiments. Together, the two boys team up with a detective named Toshi Kawasaki, a half-Japanese, half-British who specializes in the supernatural and also considers the murder case of Akira’s best friend open despite the police closing it due to a lack of evidence. The three of them believed that Kara Tech was somehow connected to the disappearances of various children in and around the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. As they go and solve cases, their friendship blossoms, especially when two people, Riho Yoshihara, Akira's childhood, biracial friend, and Htet Kawa, a half-Japanese, half-Burmese junior detective from Yokohama, come along in their various missions, both involving the supernatural and the overworld. Will they stop the organization from committing more heinous crimes before it’s too late? Warning: the photo used for the book cover is NOT mine! Credits go to the original owner!!!
