Be Mine, Once Again
"If only, I had been a bit more brave and confessed my love for you earlier, would it have saved you from the suffering you had to endure?" He whispered as he tightened his hands around Xie Yang, nuzzling into the back of his neck, half serious, half regretful.
Xie Yang didn't understand why his husband liked to ask such pointless questions. After all he was Zhou Kai, the current owner of the Zhou Conglomerate known for his decisive nature and ruthless tactics in business. A man who seemed like an immortal, untouched by worldly desires.
But in bed with him, he seemed to become an ordinary man, distressed about the pain his lover had endured, regretful of his past cowardice and intoxicated with desire as if that was the only way to prove his existence.
"It doesn't matter anymore." Xie Yang chuckled as he ran his fingers through his husband's hair, "It's not like the past can be changed right?"
That was always his answer. The correct answer, right?
He believed it was the correct answer because of course, there's no way to change the past, right? But unexpectedly, he was proven wrong when he's transported back to the past before everything went downhill.
