As a soon-to-be chieftain, Ashlani's responsibilities were numerous, complex, and often boring. As a recently reincarnated keelish (a reptilian pest), his responsibilities only extend to 1. survive another day, 2. keep his belly full, and 3. kill anything that keeps him from numbers 1 and 2. Oh, and, if the opportunity arises, take revenge on his friend turned brother turned murderer. Ashlani was sent on his inaugural hunt as the chieftain-to-be of his tribe when he was shot in the back by the man he was closest to, the one he called his closest friend. Post-mortem, he was greeted by a [System], the elect, singular keelish representative. Now, his focus must be on continuous growth and evolution, to awaken to his grand potential, and lead his new people to a new age. This is a reboot of my previous novel, Ashlani's Reincarnation, a grimdark take on a LitRPG reincarnation novel. This is a slower, more methodical approach to story, and I hope that its quality will reflect that. I update five times a week, usually weekdays, but if I miss a weekday, I make it up over the weekend.

It tells the story of software engineer A-Man's experience at the Huahai Jindu Business Hotel. Ah Man is a married man whose wife Yuan Zhen is taking care of his parents in his hometown. Despite his loyalty to his wife, Ah Man meets Zhao Yue Tong, a woman with a special interest in SM, at a bar after a company celebration. The two have a one-night stand fuelled by alcohol, and Zhao even brings along a range of erotic props. The next morning, A-Man feels guilty and confused, regretting his behaviour but also realising that Zhao has a crush on him that goes beyond a one-night stand. Zhao asks Man if he can leave his contact details before leaving, but Man confesses that he is married and refuses her request. Zhao looks disappointed, but soon leaves. When Ah Man returns to the company, he continues his work, but he receives a letter from his wife Yuan Zhen, which is full of thoughts and love for him. Ah Man decides that the next time he returns home, he will confess his one-night stand to his wife and seek her forgiveness. However, Zhao Yuetong does not give up on this and contacts Ah Man via SMS and invites him for coffee. At the coffee shop, Zhao reveals that she is interested in A-Man for more than a one-night stand. She asks A-Man to help her look at a project in Yanjing and hints that she has deeper feelings for him. Zhao Yuetong reveals to Ah Man that she had noticed him in college and had some knowledge of his special interests. She admits that she is also an SM enthusiast and that her behaviour at the bar that night was the first time she had practiced it with another person. Ah Man is shocked and realises that Zhao Yue Tong's feelings for him may be deeper than he thought. Zhao Yuetong's confession confuses Ah Man, who is unsure how to deal with this complicated relationship, especially since he already feels guilty about his wife. The whole story explores the complex relationship between loyalty, desire and guilt, and how people make choices when faced with temptation. Ah Man's inner struggle and Zhao Yue Tong's confession fill the story with emotional tension, while making one think about deeper questions about marriage, honesty and personal desires.

However this book is going to get filled with poetries, about eveything. It's attached with every feeling. It's written for everyone. Either if it's painful or exciting, it's going to leave it's spark everywhere. The world may end but these poetries don't know it's ending. That is why I decided to keep them all together, in a safe place. I wanted to create a kingdom for their beauties. So that they can never be forgetten. For now, this discord doesn't yet exist, but I will update you here when/if that changes. OTHER STORIES: Paused A few of you may have known me from my previous stories. I know, you may be pretty bummed that I haven't updated either in a really long time. There were some pretty hefty flaws in those stories that I kind of beat myself up over. (I actually formed this story while trying to restructure the surface world for 'Reincarnated as a Haunted Machine'.) For now, this will be my only work, as the world I live in has become rather complicated in recent years.
