Rave Against The Darkness
OSCAR, an Indigenous transgender man, has lived a life filled with immense trauma and personal loss. He originally lived on Earth in Mexico during the early part of his life, but was sucked into the multiverse while fleeing his abusive living situation. Years later, Oscar finds relative stability in his early adult years as a DJ in the futuristic dimension of Newon, and becomes a husband, and father. However, a demonic entity called the DARKNESS slaughters his family. Oscar's mind spirals into despair and instability, and so he becomes a violent vigilante named DEATHMATCH who uses electronic dance music as a weapon and as fuel for his superpowers. Now, Oscar wants to obtain the Masterhand and use its three powerful wishes to fix everything wrong with his life. He wants to bring back his dead family, rid his mind of the various ALTERS that exist due to his Dissociative Identity Disorder, and eradicate all the non-humans in the multiverse that he sees as being “monsters.” Oscar has made many enemies during his time as Deathmatch, including a corrupt politician who also wants the Masterhand. However, these two seemingly selfish individuals have more in common than they could ever realize, and what they both want may not be what they really need in the end.
