Lexicon Receptacle Skyrim

The Lexicon Resonance

In the world, every book was more than just a collection of words. It was a vessel of latent energy, imbued with ancient knowledge and untapped potential, people could unlock special abilities by reading books but power depended on emotional and intellectual resonance of the person with the books he or she read. The more understanding you had about the books you read, the more stronger you get. The power could be gained after awakening a lexicon. Lexicons were leather-bound tome adorned with intricate golden filigree and strange symbols that shimmer in the light. The cover was worn, with cracks and creases etched into its surface like the lines on a wise elder's face. The lexicons were large measuring approximately 12 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The color of the leather binding was a deep, rich brown, while the pages within were soft, creamy yellow.  The first lexicon was said to have been made by an ancient order of mystics, who infused the book with their collective knowledge and power. Over the centuries, sorcerers created ritual techniques to create personal lexicons where people's knowledge gained through the books they read became their power. Slowly and steadily the personally created lexicons drew knowledge from the minds of its wielders and molded it into their power.  There were three types of lexicons; the ones that contained magical text, the ones that contained fictional text and the ones that contains non-fictional text and historic text. Among these three main types of lexicon there were rare lexicons which came with unique powers, world-altering powers. In spite of of all these books came the forbidden lexicons that were mostly not awakened but learnt. The forbidden lexicons were hated by societies and were banned from use of people. There were also limits and risks with use of awakened lexicons which was termed 'lexicon fracture'. It was experienced when people had mind breaks from wrong usage of their awakened lexicons. Our main character rises from the lowest to highest in spite of the mockery that "He was never meant to even have a Lexicon." Follow the story for more...

Fate Of A Hero

Somehow, I don't know how for sure, though, I've been sent to the world of my favorite game, Skyrim. The longer I'm here, the more I notice that this world is real. Not simply realistic, but real. Everything I do has an effect on the world, either good or bad, especially in the case with the storylines. I love Skyrim, but I'm not going to be able to survive here, right? How do I get out? Getting out isn't even the beginning of my problems. The longer I stay here, the more I realize – things are different, and not necessarily for the better. -------------- As embarrassing as this is, this is a Skyrim fanfic. It's probably permanently in progress, as I'm mainly just using it as a drawing board to practice writing storylines for games. Writing it out is just a fun way I've got for going about it. I've also written this in a style so that people who haven't played any of the Elder Scrolls series of games can read it as well. I warn you, though, there's a *lot* of words. Side note: I've also got this story on other sites/apps, in case you want to read it there. -------------- This is also a challenge to That Guy Right There. This is a combination of how I would write the fanfic you made, along with the fact that I got tired of waiting for the author, That Guy Right There, to finish his story, "Living Skyrim." It's pretty good, y'all should check it out. However, Guy's mc is an asshole, so I warn you now. The puns he makes are also kinda bad. So I challenge you, Guy. I'm gonna write my version of how it'd go, and you finish yours (unless you died.) This is a direct copy from my work on my other accounts on various reading/writing apps. Check that one out, too. It doesn't matter to me which you support, cuz I'm not monetized by any. I'm just the writer, man.

Healing the Broken

***WARNING!! BL! YAOI! BI CONTENT! SMUT!!! MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY. *** Also, please feel free to give me some feedback. Try to see if anyone’s interested or places for improvements. Thanks! Posting to Royal Road —————————————————————————— In a world of myth and magic, where reality was bent by mana and the divines, powerful mages ruled and dominated the world. They set and manipulated the rules and laws to their liking. Many fell prey to their wants and desires. Others fell over into their graves from wrongly crossing a mage. It was almost impossible for the common folk to do anything about their treatment. It was best to steer clear. The common folk were not well treated, but they were not the bottom of the barrel in their society. Slaves. Slaves were the outlets to those in higher society. They were vented upon the deepest desires and fantasies of the privileged, or became objects of their cruelty. Once bound, it was difficult to escape. The consequences to freedom were dire. Curses of the divines were not to be messed with. There was a unfortunate man dealt an unlucky fate. When he was starting to be able to finally walk, he was already forced with the burdens of his terrible family. An unwanted product from the trysts of his promiscuous father, his fate was sealed when he taken in instead of left abandoned at the orphanage. Hated and disgusted by his step mother and step siblings, he was scorned and beaten daily. He was nothing but a trash receptacle for their abuse. His father was no better. His only intention was to sell him into slavery for some gold coin. His wife only agreed to take in the bastard for the greed of money. He was forced duties around the house, and later on when he could lift a hoe, he was forced into the hot sun laboring in the fields. They worked him hard and fed him little, but the boy was born with gifts of the body. He outgrew his peers and siblings, already stunning with premature charm. He told himself to keep working. To put up with his so called “family” and their abuse. He waited for the day he came of age. Then could he finally be free from his horrid old life and be able to build anew. But he was naive and foolish. He never thought his blood father would sell him into slavery. His little gratitude to his father for creating him and keeping him was no more. He cursed his father. He cursed his step family. He cursed at the world. But he could stop his becoming of a slave. He would become a slave of pleasure. And for many years he stayed as such. Until he could no longer. A terrible night almost led to his death. He made up his mind that night. He ran away and was cursed.

Lexicon eXchange exPanse

Long ago, precisely 124 Duo-Septuaginta-Sescentillion (or 1.24 × 10 ^ [to the power of] 2021) years ago, a magical researcher hoped to survive the big collapse. Anything with a start has an end. Matter can not be created nor destroyed. Through deductive reasoning, it is believed that the universe has an infinite cycle of big bangs and collapses. A scholar extended his life using a self created immortal technique. Immortals have always dreamed of godhood, and if there ever was a god; they would have merely been someone who can survive one universe's death and live in the next. No more, no less. How many times have the universe experienced this big bang though? I, the author, personally think time is infinite and has always been. However, If it was possible, wouldn't the universe be covered in gods from the infinite amount of time that has already passed? Becoming a god is impossible. Living forever is impossible. However, what about an idea or information? The once simple scholar had a dream to live forever, however, it changed. The magical researcher's idea was to transmit knowledge to the other side of the abyss. One might think that the simple scholar was now a philosopher questioning life, but the law of parsimony simply says '*The simplest explanation is usually the right one*'. --- A/N: I have been brain storming and writing the premise of this story for about 5 days on my computer. I decided I would post some chapters online, and saw a tycoon contest going while I was inputting my story into the Inkstone system. I decided to change gears and intent of my story from a empire building story into a more tycoon focused one. Ended up re-writing before I uploaded this story. I think it will end up more realistic this way after thinking of the competition others who want to build an empire and what not. It will be profits first. Empires need to crush competition for a monopoly, but my end goal is now a tycoon who only cares for profits and not the territory outside the fence or border of his domain. The vetted interests in a tycoon are different from a mayor or emperor. You could say there are similarities to an empire and a tycoon, but the goal and focus are different. If an emperor runs out of space, he needs to conquer and care about respect and his people. A tycoon can just build up and down and layer things as they please. All tycoon construction is done through a controlled and planned economy, while an empire typically uses a branching distribution approach. Growth is usually organic or independently controlled from branching units or power in empires. Nothing stops the tycoon, not when you have a tycoon that invades all fronts, even the monster and alien economies. Everyone is a target, even bugs have meat to eat, and all intellectual creatures will be an audience in the tycoon's targeted ad campaign.
