I woke up in an unfamiliar world, inside a body that wasn’t mine. I mean. A realm brimming with magic, dragons, and every fantastical creature I had only dreamed of. Yeah, no big deal, right? At first, I tried to live as normally as possible in this strange new world—*you know, just blend in*—but then, after a life-changing event (read if you wanna know), it hit me: this wasn’t just any random world. Nope. It was *the world*. The one I had created in the novel I had been writing back on Earth. How fun is that? I’m now living in the very thing I’d written. And to make it even more interesting? I’m a character who wasn’t supposed to exist. My arrival has already started shaking up the plotline like a snow globe, and I’m over here trying to figure out where the heck to even start. So, where do I go from here? I made a story. It was a mess of ideas strung together with hopes and dreams. Wrote about a few thousand words on it, then completely forgot about it to focus on my other works. I never should've added more things to it. Why? I suddenly woke up inside of the story as a nobody that has absolutely nothing useful to survive in this place. The novel was a piece of satire as glorious as it was horrendous, with shallow characters, petty squabbles, and black-and-white villains and heroes. There was no depth whatsoever. And yet people kept reading until the very end, bound by the idea that the entire novel was a big joke. Life would make a similar joke on our trash author Arcine. Plagued by three different types of cancer, paralyzed from the waist down, and suffering from severe mental degradation at a young age, it was as if everything he had written was being thrown back at him.
